Action is the insignia of Life. Due to the inherent tendencies (vasanas) in us we are forced to act. But how we act determines where we will reach.
In Chapter 3 of the Bhagavad Gita, Shri Krishna explains to a confused Arjuna that though Knowledge may seem superior to Action, it is imperative that both be practiced.
Step by step, Shri Krishna shows how the path of action is a means to the end and what happens to those who do not act. Action when practiced without attachment to its result, purifies the mind and integrates the personality. This makes the mind receptive to the knowledge that leads to Self-realisation.
Swami Chinmayananda puts a modern-day perspective to the teachings of Shri Krishna, helping us to transcend the world of action into the subtler realms of contemplation.

wow wow... any person who is anxious need to watch this.. no desire helps you to taste life.. i have realised this this week itself.. i am able to taste water, food after i dropped a strong desire of mine.. i did not realise for many years i have been just gulping down everything and not tasting it.. such a coincidence it came up today.. pranam to the saints..

Stage 1. Childhood desires. Just a person to share their stories and to play. Are they permanent ? No as soon as parents say no they are bad they will not come out and slowly they move out. 2. Teen love. Very poetic and complimentary. Just a person to feel close to admire and be admired. Is that going to stay? No. As soon as admiration towards their substance fades they will gradually disappear. 3. Early phase love. This act of love aims to transform love as a thought to that of a love with a reason. This is accompanied by the wisdom to live and in a user friendly term it is carefully generated career proving skills. Is this love going to stay? No. As soon as career calls this love ends.
