I just picked up some Tam Khanun (jackfruit salad) from this spot and I'm eating it right now. Out of curiosity, I looked up some recipes and stumbled upon this video. I always stop by Amphai to grab some Tam Khanun to-go after eating at Pa Ord right next door. These two places have the best Thai food in LA, in my opinion. Pa Ord's boat noodles and Amphai's Tam Khanun taste almost identical to what I ate several times backpacking through Thailand last November! A little slice of Thailand right in this little plaza in Hollywood!

The khao soi at Spicy Thai BBQ at the corner or Normandie and Santa Monica Blvd is even better. I've tried both.

Northern Thai food looks really tasty, I’ve only ever had Thai food and didn’t even know there was a difference with northern and southern Thai.

I love your channel however. They are not leaves they are spices. Also not saying the word "like" so much will help. You have great content. I can help you with this.

your food descriptions are awful. Everything is “soft and spicy”
