Hurricane Andrew 1992 devastated Miami area then went up to Atlanta and sat right on the city and dumped 14 inches of rain in the metro area. We had flooding like never before. Caskets were popping out of graveyards and floating down the flooded water. Also the food waters went downstream throughout southern Georgia. It was bad. I remember our church sending a truckload of supplies to Macon, Ga to help. God blessed you so you could be a blessing to others in time of need. Plus a blessing to have prepared pantry for such a time.

I believe in miracles and I know he is a wonder working God because last week here in Baltimore lightning struct my next door neighbors’s home and the neighbor next to him and put a large hole in the garage and blew up their cable boxes and other things in their home. I know when we do for him, he looks out for us. Amen. Just had to share with you & the old school family to speak of the goodness of the Lord. I will be trying this recipe

Dear Chef , this is one of the best casseroles …. One of our kitchen ladies at work would make this …. I loved it so much I asked her for the recipe . She gave it to me 😁. She called it chuckwagon chowder . I love to make it year round . It’s really good with a slice of garlic bread . Thank you for answering about the sauerkraut . I’m STILL trying to find my Nana’s recipe and directions ….. I have 6 big cookie tins and about 45 cookbooks to go through . She was a professional caterer and I inherited her cookbooks . Pure treasure as I love old cookbooks 😁. I NEED A HUGE BOOKSHELF IN THE KITCHEN BUT IT WON’T FIT 😂😂😂😂😂. I still think of her in the kitchen fussing about she was ready to start canning and going to every farmers market after she had already canned everything in her own garden ! Best of all I got to help and watch. I was so proud of my first canned goodies (12) quarts of Kentucky wonder green beans and (12) quarts of diced tomatoes . Of course this was done under her eagle eyed directions . My mom was shocked that I actually canned them with Nana as she did not SUFFER FOOLS GLADY in her kitchen 😂😂😂😂😂😂 . Her personality was peppery at best in the kitchen hence the reason my Grandfather called her Geronimo (when she was out of earshot) 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 love these videos !
