In fact it's very disappointing to see that Ethan has no personality at all. Sure, he interacts more now, but even in the model viewer his head remains dark. Only with mods to turn up the brightness you can see his head / face which is fully modeled but for some reason never officially uncovered. But in all honesty he's just an everyman with blond hair and blue eyes, nothing special about him.

The mocap suit covers the whole body. They couldn't just ask Ethan's actor to get beheaded just because many cutscenes wouldn't show his body.

5:47 for some odd reason they cut out the original scene, after the man was dragged up or actually let me just say origanlly during this scene you had full control of ethan and could move around with the gun, so the man gets dragged up and then you were prompted to leave the house, well as you're walking a lycan tries to get you from behind and ethan falls, gets back up, and runs but THEN the lycan grabs him from under. another cut was the lycan hits you from behind and throws you out the house which was more basic than the other ones. but I have to say the big jump cuts were sloppy in my opinion.

6:15 THANK YOU!!! Right as this game came out I watched Markiplier play just episode one while I waited till payday and I noticed that NOBODY was questioning how there was no hole in the floor yet the hole in the wall was in front of a completely fine floor space. Who knew you simply teleported 🤣 I was honestly REAL surprised I haven’t see anybody question how he was thrown out of the basement yet there was no whole directly in front of where you go through the wall 😂 It’s interesting that the teleportation is used SO much. I wonder if for the initial thrown out of the basement scene if they initially had him try to flee and instead just cut out everything in between.

I appreciate the like, split videos. Like, different sections of the game getting their own separate video. I'm on my first playthrough of RE8 right now, and I'm only slightly into the castle. So knowing that this whole video is pretty much just everything BEFORE the castle, is great. I know I'm not getting any spoilers. Once I exit the castle and move on to the next section, I'll watch the video about the castle OOB stuff. Sometimes when people make OOB videos, they kinda jump all over the place, and it's hard to avoid spoilers if you haven't completely finished a game yet. But I still love seeing OOB videos about games I enjoy. I play on console, so I don't really get the pleasure of using a freecam to explore myself. But I do love breaking out of the map in any game I can.

Game environments are pretty much built like movie sets. The old rule of thumb is "if you don't see it, don't build it." There are warehouses full of movie sets and props built without backs, or with detail on one side.

Slippy Slides i would like to see an out of bounds about the red door in castle dimitrescu tasty room, we reach the spot Lady D. is leaving with a botle trough this red door and the player take the right path down stairs. Other one i like to see if you Mr. take requests is a ood hard to notice door like in the castle, looks like normal wall and have its frame and wood cut around a frame but no handle.(i think is after we open the countyard).
