So, essentially, this is us telling our bodies that it's safe to stretch until it believes us and allows us to go deeper... Quite therapeutic I must say. I'm so glad that I found this channel.

Great video! I would love to see one on how to unlock your back. I struggle with a rounded low back in cobblers pose and similar poses.

How can you incorporate stretches into your daily life. I mean for instance when you are sitting at your desk or when you are putting on shoes. That sort of thing.

Just for confirmation, are we pressing the knees towards the floor on the first pose or are we passive?

I really like this video, it's my first of yours. Although you went nice and clearly for 90%, I don't think you covered the most important part very well, the reciprocal inhibition part. I think especially with the second pose, you just assumed that everyone knows where the antagonist to their adductors are and how to engage them in this pose. Would be good to slow down and go through that some more...

I know that PNF uses isometric contractions of the target muscles, adding in reciprocal inhibition, I think you mean, is an additional way to do PNF

Should you stretch before running? And what would you say are det most important stretches after running? I think a lot of runners are curious to that.
@CathyMadeoYoga2 ай бұрын
I can do a video on this! Better to stretch after running.
