Your beekeeping videos are my absolute favourites. Will you be measuring the temperatures in a regular hive and this new one to see if it makes a big difference?

Title: Polystyrene Taras: Polestyrol
@CookingWithCows7 жыл бұрын
It's the same thing, just a different name for it. Just like pork/pig, cow/beef, mutton/sheep. polystyrol is used in germany and I think most of the eastern european/russian area, so that's probably where him using this name comes from. The material is also called Styropor and Styrofoam

First of all, i like it and hope to see lots of bee keeping videos this year. Second, you should look into some acoustic tiles to hang on your walls. They will cut down on the echo effect in the studio. 👍

Thanks for the video. I've been using the Poly hives for two years now in Ohio. So far I love them and my bees made it through winter. I only have two, but I just bought two more. I look forward to seeing your progress with them.

Is that the foam or plastic? It looks like foam. They will chew through that. I used a piece in the bottom of my top bar hive and they channeled out part of it to get around.

You should try and avoid plastic queen excluders as the holes are punched out leaving sharp edges damaging the bees wings as they climb through.....
