So, is this body/skeleton-wide and all at once? I'm here because a fave of mine musician was just diagnosed with it. What is the outlook, as far as long term? Is it like dialysis, where the patient has to undergo treatments?
@pbonney6 жыл бұрын
Moo Moo Puppy I have it. It affects the amount of platelets my body produces. I take prednisone as a form of treatment.

Moo Moo Puppy I was diagnosed in 2001. It is chronic. Takes a while to get used to the medicine. I went to work even during adjustment to the meds. It is good to read about it. Join Cancer Support Group. Enjoy life. Take it easy.

May I ask why is myelofibrosis being discussed in Khan Academy? This is a rare form of chronic leukemia, usually diagnosed in people 50+. I was diagnosed in 2001.

Because kids with interest in blood may be interested in microscopic variations…particularly if their parent has a MPN. I think this was a great source for my middle school duo trying to understand my complaints.
