Hey there, I'm the author! First of all, I appreciate you playing it, for sure that can show the project to a wider audience usually focused around melee. Cutscenes are a big part but not the most important part of the rework, there are significant gameplay and terrain changes in all maps. In general, you can think of it as a remake: every map is redone from scratch and in some just the terrain or parts of it are expanded/improved from Blizzard's original work. The maps should feel very nostalgic but also like a new game entirely. At least that's what even knowledgeable people like Neo from B2W told me while he was playing. I wouldn't say to skip the prologue campaign, it has a bit of everything I've been adding later on and it's supposed to be played before of human campaign. It even introduces that story. However, it's true the human campaign contains more rework and expansion overall with respect to the prologue. I just had more stuff to work with. Anyway, looking forward to see more if you want to continue, might even pop-in the stream if I can. Cheers!

It's def still there... Warcraft III: Reforged was going to be my new main game again... But they botched it.. Was going to be fun climbing the ladder/ranks in multiplayer again.. With people on my level unlike w3Arena where everyone is a veteran.. But.. They botched one of my fav games of all time :/

These cameras are the basic camera pans which are very easy. The hardest part is converting these maps through the mess Blizzard made.

Missed a secret path, the amount of lore love here is unreal, tying together warcraft 3 and world of warcraft locations to help get a real feeling where you're at in the world.

Draenor is called Draenor because the Draenei called it so. The Orc's didn't have a name for it as they're native to the land and didn't start to name this planet at some point. Only the exiled ones, driven away by the burning legion, gave it a name. Draenor is a place for the exiled ones, the Draenei. Orcs and Draenei lived in peace until the burning legion found them and told the Orcs to slaughter the Draenei.

No, the prophet flying is not new. In the original campaign, it flys around you in a cinematic while here, it does it outside the cinematic

The voices seemed pretty well synced to mouth movements. Not sure if that was the work of InsaneMonster but it does help with the immersion especially close up.

Rebuilding all the maps with custom features is already incredible, but the addition of the codex lore/bestiary section is the cherry on top of for me. I'm sure it was far from the hardest thing to implement, but it's just that little extra detail that adds a new level of polish to this mod (reforged lag/janky graphics aside). Amazing work by the author, I can only hope Blizzard will go back and give this campaign the love it deserves like this guy is doing.

I wanna actually see Grubby play two other Warcrafts: 1. SC2 custom multiplayer maps called "War3" with the official Blizzard SD+ graphics (just seartch "War3" in Arcade) 2. SC2 custom campaign "Warcraft: Azeroth Reborn" (looks kinda the same, maybe even the same authors?)

I think Blizzard made a mistake trying to Reforge two campaigns and the multi-player. They should have just Reforged RoC on launch and added in TFT's Reforged Campaign over a span of patches

Maps are different layouts, there pieces of lore added in, InsaneMonster also made some interesting missions and objectives, there are even custom models modders have made You should try out all of this work he has done so far

Currently InsaneMonster has released the entire Exodus of the Horde and the first half of the human campaign. The second half of the Scourge of Lordaeron should also be published by this fall.This is a fantastic project!

I've decided to just click the Reforged icon on my launcher as I do sometimes and see seome "PTR patch". Of course I think "oh, it's that thing you promised back in 2020", but I click it and see "June 14 2022" or so. I'm legit surprised there's anyone even remembering Reforged is a thing. It hasn't been on any sale ONCE since it was released, like Blizz just wanted to bury and forget it. Granted, they're not redoing the cutscenes D2R style or anything big like that (hopefully just yet), but it's still more than Reforged's gotten almost since it released. Sure, I'll probably never touch ranked, but I'm gonna pay attention to what's happening for now.

What is the problem everyone haves with the reforged graphics? I mean Reforged as a game was a disaster but the new graphics I think are completely fine idk. Could anybody explain? Is it still that people find they can't differentiate the units so quickly? Because honestly I think that is mostly just a thing you can get used to.

Add a SKIRMISH option, for offline play. Why does it take 2 hours to set up a custom game vs AI which has to be connected to the web just to play vs the computer. Why did I download 30 GB of data just to play old graphics skirmish WCIII, which fits nicely into 1GB from the two CD's?
