Receiver sensitivity is the lowest power level at which the receiver can detect an RF signal and demodulate the data. In short, it indicates the weakest signal that a receiver will be able to identify and process.
Receiver sensitivity is expressed in dBm since it represents how faint an signal can be successfully received by the receiver, the lower the power level of the signal, the better, the receiver.
Sensitivity is purely a receiver specification and is independent of the transmitter.
The typical range for receiver sensitivity of various RF modules is from -50 to -100 dBm. Different standards and technologies have different requirements for receiver sensitivity.
Bluetooth: -70 dBm to -100 dBm
Wi-Fi: -40 dBm to -80 dBm
Cellular: up to -120 dBm
LoRa: up to -130 dBm
GNSS: -140 to -165 dBm
ZigBee: -85 to -92 dBm
Rx_Sens(dBm) = -174(dBm) + 10log (BW) + NF(dB) + S/N(dB)
What will be the receiver sensitivity if a receiver has a noise figure of 8 dB, channel bandwidth of 1 MHz, and the minimum SNR at the receiver output is 12 dB.
Rx_Sens(dBm) = -174(dBm) + 10log (BW) + NF(dB) + S/N(dB)
= -174 (dBm) + 60 (dB) + (8 (dB) + 12 (dB)
= -94dBm

Thank you so much, great efforts and it is very useful; Please, I would ask you about the standard limit of error vector magnitude (EVM) in percentage (%) (EVM%) for WiFi received signal (IEEE 802.11 n), the same question for signal to noise ratio (SNR in dB); I's really will help me a lot if have exact and precise idea regarding those parameters!! I need those parameters to use them as a reference for assessing my transmitted RF signal performance after its propagation through multipath wireless channel in the simulation, Any sort of help would be really appreciated as soon as possible :)

You can see this link for EVM in dB. www.litepoint.com/blog/error-vector-magnitude-why-it-matters-and-how-its-measured/ Then convert to %: EVM = -18 dB EVM % = [100 * 10^(-18/20)] % EVM % = [100 * 0.125892] % EVM % = 12.589 %
