Going from consultant to developer is a good goal to have because you'll have the background knowledge in Salesforce administration and configuration which is key to being a great dev.

Who does more Pentesting? Developers or Platform App Builders?

Pentesting and security as a full-time career is very niche in Salesforce because the platform takes care of a good amount of the security for the organization. I'm sure there are specialized firms that focus on that. Knowing admin and platform app builder would be a good start to go down the security path but it's not a direct line to it. You'll most likely need to learn coding as well.

Wrap your head around Salesforce. For newbies it can be a bit confusing. Working on getting the associate and BA. Those will help you understand how Salesforce works.

You can start by listing out what the list needs to do. - Add items - Remove items - Rearrange items Understand if you need different fields or what you want the look and feel to be like (UI/UX) SLDS is great place for example for style. Start with the simples thing I want to add a an item to the list and see it on the screen.
