This video is sooo underrated. I've been meaning to come around a way to understanding "The self" and self-actualise, and Carl Jung has done some fabulous work. Thank you for bringing this into light. Subbd! Can you recommend a book, which I can refer to understand this more deeply? (Specifically to understand "the self")

Try 3x Sagittarius 5 x total Libras and the absolute best is Lilith Black Moon & Libra in my Ascendant or House of Relationships. That is the absolute best possible Natal Chart anyone could have. At least everything is on the left side in the domain of Fate except a Pieces Moon in the 5th house... i do whatever I want whenever I wish .... Freewill = Zero Excuses

thank you . i like people becoming more and more aware on these issues.. When i noticed i lived my life being totally unaware of my shadows and even under the complete influence of misbeliefs and judgements about myself, it was a unique moment. i was also glad to break the cycle of generational trauma in my family, that alone helped me get rid of lots of shadow- dictated behaviors at once..wish the same for every human being

Oh this is so good! I really appreciate the information you gave here in regards to shadow work and Mbti. I have been pursuing my own shadow work through the lens of spirituality and using my own astrological chart as a tool to pinpoint the areas in my subconscious that need the most help that way. I had no idea that mbti could be used in a similar fashion! I am familiar with mbti but had never delved too deeply into it before. Hearing you explain about the deeper cognitive functions and understanding your inner critic through that lens is super fascinating! This is going to be a new rabbit hole I'll enjoy going down after seeing this video :) My type is INTJ, btw. Thank you for such an informative and helpful video! 🌱

Thank you!! Wow, that sounds really interesting! I know very little of astrology but it comes up a lot while reading about the psychological types, do you have any recommendations to learn about this? Haha I hope you have fun going down the mbti rabbit hole🤓 Oh, I admire the qualities in INTJ a lot, “the mastermind”✨ So your critic function may be Ti, I found this one really cool to read about- Ti acts to challenge & verify knowledge and belief systems of yourself and others Thank you so much for the kind words, I’m glad you found it helpful☺️🫶🏻

@@itszoewinter Yes! If I were just starting out with astrology again the first thing I would look into is your Sun, Moon, and Rising Sign. Your Sun sign typically represents your core personality and ego; your Moon will be what rules your emotions, how you respond to outer stimuli, and "your internal life"; your Rising Sign represents how others see you, how you show up in the world, it is also said to relate to your appearance as well. I recommend looking up a sun, moon, rising calculator online and go from there :) I've been having so much fun looking deeper into mbti! You are exactly right about my critic function being Ti. I relate a lot to everything that I've read about it so far 😂 It's funny because my mom and brother are both INFPs so maybe that's why I feel very comfortable with your style of speaking and teaching in these videos 😁 I look forward to what you have lined up next! I hope you have a wonderful week 🍃

Hey, I hope you like this video😊 A quote from Jung that inspired me while filming this: "The meaning and design of a problem seem not to lie in its solution, but in our working at it incessantly. This alone preserves us from stultification and petrification." What's your mbti type/function stack? And how do you notice your critic function show up in your life? I'd be really curious to hear, and let me know if you have any questions! (And to those of you who think your personality can’t be described by just a few letters, you’re right and that’s not what I mean to say by this! Even Jung says knowing someone’s psychological type tells you as much about their character as being able to describe their hair color as brown- it simply categorizes the different ways in which people select & reject information, and make decisions that shape them & their lives. Every conscious attitude is unique, and I'd love to hear about your experience✨)

I'm glad you're slowly getting out of your writer's block! I've often heard that taking a break from current projects and doing something new helps to get the juices flowing. And I think it's great that you write summaries of what you plan on writing! Great way to stay on track! I've also heard that engaging in other activities can help too. If you have a favorite hobby (or one that you've wanting to try), you can do that whenever you're faced with writer's block. Or you can exercise to clear your head. Just last night, I exercised after a hiatus. At first, I wasn't going to because I didn't exercise all week (like I previously planned to...but unexpected things happened). But I was feeling pretty stressed and anxious...and I'm glad I did. My body felt more relaxed and I slept good! I can relate to dealing with writer's block. I had that issue a while ago, and it lasted for years. I was in school at the time, so class assignments, tests, projects, and everything else was draining my brain dry! I couldn't think of ANY new ideas...not due to fear, but simple because creativity was in a VERY DEEP SLEEP. When I graduated college, I slowly got back into reading short books, watched writing videos online, and even tried to watch new movies. Eventually, that helped me to slowly get out of that place. I've been feeling unmotivated to write lately (which is ANNOYING!). But it's because life has been getting in the way. Hopefully, I can get back into the swing of things soon. I really want to continue my projects.Thanks for your transparency and I hope you enjoy the upcoming week ahead! P.S.: Another tip that I've heard has been helpful for writers is to share updates regularly on social media or on KZbin. By letting others know about current writing projects, struggles, and even sharing what your project is about has helped writers to hold themselves accountable (especially when they see how excited followers are to see their finished book)!

Hi I have been trying to change myself (self-improvement), but whenever I try to plan out things and make a proper schedule, I always fail to follow it up and watch movies, TV shows, instant gratification stuff, and don't study. Could it be due to my shadow? I have been trying to change myself for 1 year, but every time this cycle repeats.

Writers block is so hard to get through! One way I’ve found helps is to plan out what your next writing session will look like (at a conceptual level). This will allow you some time to ruminate on that idea from one session to the next and hopefully avoid second guessing yourself! Great video! 😊

Also, I haven’t forgotten about the writing group and I’m looking forward to being able to chat & share resources there😊 All the best💗

I'm happy to hear my recommendation worked for you! I love to recommend Scrivener to every writer I know 😂 I used to write on Google Docs too a few years ago and I remember how finicky it was! I was always so paranoid about losing my work 😅 I'm also a huge sucker for customization and the ability to make an aesthetic workspace, so that was a huge plus for me 😁 I'm excited for the writing group! Don't feel like you have to rush though! I'm looking forward to joining when it's ready 😊 I'll keep an eye out for your updates!

Very interesting, I'm an INFP and I can get quite stuck staying in a visualising or planning stage, for example doing various mock-ups of a room that needs renovating instead of just getting some paint and painting!
@itszoewinter
@itszoewinter 28 күн бұрын
Yes haha this is definitely a relatable struggle😅 Lately I’ve been learning lots about our Te aspirational function which can make our stack very powerful if developed! INFPs are the visionaries, and especially your Fi Ne can help you find many great ideas, but without action & consistency it never makes it very far.. this is why I like to use our opposite type (the subconscious) as an alter ego, as it can help develop the inferior function (Te) while still being supported by our other conscious functions.. I hope this is helpful!

This could be an opportunity to write new stories🤍 I can somewhat relate to this; a shadow work exercise that I find really helpful to get to know myself was recognizing who I am through own my projections.. here’s a prompt you can use: What do you criticize in others? -> this reveals where you know you can do better in yourself, what you need to change or let go in your own life What do you admire in others? -> this reveals your hidden/undeveloped talents and potentials, if you didn’t have it in you, it wouldn’t resonate so pursue it! I hope this might help! I wish you all the best in your own shadows work journey😊

Wow You look really pretty here. Am here for the talk etc, but also just seeing your physical transformation for this vid is a great illustration of presenting yourself in a new way. Have only seen one other videos of yours, but you clearly have a different look here and it’s reallly becoming. Super poignant for me personally as well, because I am someone who is traditionally good looking as well, but I had such low self esteem and went through such a goth phase where I was so disgusted with the recent “good vibes only” bullshit, that I dove wholeheartedly into my goth identity. I wasn’t wearing makeup and shit, but I began to think that if I highlighted my good looks at all, that I was being a tool. But in reality, I was still just as shallow, but just doing whatever I could to NOT come across as being vain. After realizing how I was intentionally neglecting a valuable part of myself, I’ve been wanting to dress up a bit more recently and try to celebrate my appearance more. Not saying either way is the healthiest, but just the direction I need to go in at the moment, and seeing you look so beautiful is just inspiring, so thanks for getting done up, and know that people are noticing and liking it!!

Thank you, this is so kind and I really appreciate it☺️ A quote I really love is “dress how you want to feel” and I believe this a powerful part of your self concept (and ultimately what we act out in the world)… it’s how you’ve said you neglected your appearances when dealing with low self-esteem, it seems this saying will always play itself out wether intentional or not! But I’m happy to hear you’re trying to be more intentional & celebrate your appearance more, you should! It’s something I’m also learning to embrace in myself✨ Thank you for the kind words😊
