Please clarify that if we sell at rs.50 and company buyback in open market with pre announced price not exceeding rs.70. then the difference of rs.20 will be credited to the investor or not?

No, open market buyback is such that companies keep buying their own shares just like we buy a share. They will buy upto a price point only. So, only in tender offer buyback, we can get benefit of buyback that too if we tender our share to the company.

Sir what if I hold share on record date and sell them after that day and when the company announce for buy application then re buy and apply. So will I get the buy amount, here I will keep the same quantity of share. For eg I had 30 share on record date after 2 or 3 days I sell them all when buy back announcements from the company side buy again same 30 and apply.... please reply
