Originally by a Pilipino Female Singer named Sheryn Regis but, it didn't go popular unlike MORISSETTE's Version for so month long since She did this Cover it's a big hit abd still trending up to this day. Hello Fil! Thanks so much for this awesome reaction to Morissette singing "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw" (I already Want To Let Go). She is absolutely amazing, and the way she delivered this hard-to-sing song is absolutely mind-blowing! It's so intense and breathtaking. It's actually a cover, but even the original singer did not perform it this way. But for using this song as a soundtrack for a tv drama series "The Broken Marriage Vow", Mori was chosen to do the interpretation. It has become viral since then. Are we glad that now there's this Wish Bus version, and she absolutely nailed it again. It's good to know that she has not experienced this personally, she is actually happily married to a loving and very supportive husband, and she is just telling the story but the way she conveyed the emotions of sadness, pain, struggle and confusion with her crying voice is outstanding. Again, thank you for being back to reacting to Mori again. Looking forward to more reactions to her incredible performances. 💖

This song is a remake of the original sung by Sheryn Regis. It's amazing how you can 'feel' the song even without understanding any of the words. I believe it is because Morisette conveys the song powerfully and full of emotions. The song is about love and heartbreak, that she wants (gusto) to let go (bumitaw) of the love that is hurting her but unable to. There is pain, there is conflict. Morisette put her soul in reviving the song and she once more showed her amazing prowess. If I may compare the two songs, both are amazing btw, the original song by Sheryn is like a rain with cold winds while Morisette expressed it like a thunderstorm.

Fil, this song is a theme song from a TV show on Filipino TV. Mori is also operating under a cloud of vocal fatigue or something like that and is taking steroids to help deal with the problem. Speaking of singing through illness, Morissette was in bed feeling awful for a few days. She and Dave needed to get a recording of her song 'Power' and it had to get done soon. So Mori set her mind and they went into the studio to see what they could get. Well what happened next is what legends are made of. This is NOT her original song, but a cover. (But as you rightly pointed out, this just shows, how good she is!) still, this us not her best performance of this song imho, as she is sitting down and singing to a track (and seems a bit tired). You need to watch the other one-take live version with a live band, where she stands and gives the whole performance even more power, that everybody who ever watched the video simply was rendered speechless! And yes, this is probably her best song, even better than akin ka na lang…! Insane! Mori is a vocal beast!
