What is Social Learning?

How do we learn? When we are young, we learn from others through mimicry and interactions. As we grow, we learn from friends and teachers. As adults, we learn more from peers, experts, colleagues and communities. Within this learning are richer and more complex social interactions, as well as developing social skills. This is social learning. We have seen how valuable social learning is, so that’s why we focus on it at FutureLearn.
