@Mreri Oli I have absolutely no interest in spirituality, so that is not my gripe with what she said. My issue is her essentially saying mental illness doesn’t exist, and chalking it up to attacks from supposed ‘demons’? And furthermore, claiming that is it your own fault that you’re dealing with said ‘attacks’, something in your lifestyle causing them. I think you and I are concerned with two entirely separate things.

That main girls point regarding mental health 😓 this is the reason a lot of mental health cases are not taken seriously. Implying that if you're closer to God then you'll become cured? That's like breaking your leg and expecting a prayer to fix it. Being religious doesn't mean you can't do anything about your situation. Tie your camels . Mental health is important ya'll, if you can go get the help, seek it.
@lynnmothibeli3253 жыл бұрын
She's right for most part, but I definitely still agree with you! As a Christian myself, I feel like if she was going to bring up what she talked about, she should've provided much better explaining because otherwise things like these will happen where people don't understand what she's saying and then painting her as a Christian with the same typical "judgmental" brush as have always been. She did not do justice to the topics she brought up. Lemme explain something. Giving your life to Christ is like adopting a whole new life and lifestyle. It opens your eyes to so many things you were not aware of before you became born-again. This world we are living in, is and has always been, run by the devil. We see it in the Hollywood industry and all the abuse and child-abuse that was going on behind the scenes; we see it in the music industry and the entertainment industry. Becoming a born-again Christian opens the awareness that this whole time there's a spiritual realm that exists and no one knows about it. The spiritual war going on there between the Kingdoms of darkness and Light, invoke things to happen here in the physical world. It's very, very deep so I feel like if she wasn't ready to get into a whole discussion explaining that, she should not have brought it up to avoid creating misunderstanding.

@@ilubyou13 @BMG Frosty! she LITERALLY said "anxiety, depression doesn't exist, bipolar"... actually, let me start off by stating that her opinion is NOT new nor is it rare. plenty of monotheistic religions believe that if you delve into the supernatural realm; you are OPENING *PANDORA'S BOX* --that's literally where/how that phrase originates. there are films made about this subject (i.e. The Craft, Poltergeist, every damn movie about a Ouija Board). this is incredibly old rhetoric that I've heard all my life from loved ones, especially Christians. her point was repetitive and terrible. AND BESIDES, EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS! THE PEOPLE THAT PRACTICE IT, DON'T CARE! tragically, MANY PEOPLE believe that you have a demon inside of you if you're mentally ill (along with being non-heterosexual, but I digress...). there are people who don't receive therapy because of this and act on suicide because people will judge them so NO. just because YOU and others agree, doesn't mean that "iTs FaXXx". even your explanation is old and repetitive. people understood the point; I and others don't agree. she STILL negated the existence of mental illnesses. and FINALLY, what about the people who have been diagnosed and never messed the supernatural realm??? there are children whom are sexually/physically abused by loved ones and grow up silent about their abuse and festers; YET they're blamed for being Satanic... riddle me that.

If you are going to say something at least have some facts or evidence behind it. You could be hurting a group of people without realizing it or when you think you're helping. What if people with mental illnesses believe her? They won't seek the help they need and end up in a bad place. I have an unpopular opinion in response to the mother who didn't want to breastfeed. Here's the thing. Nobody asks to be born. Having kids is an inherently selfish decision that you chose. The least you can do for forcing someone into existence against their will is to give them the very best of what you can in this life and not cut corners. This includes breastfeeding. Breastfeeding gives your baby antibodies to help strengthen their immune system and fight against infections, including ear and respiratory infections. It gives them way more nutrients than formula and even helps with brain development more than formula ever could. An innocent child did not ask to be born. You imposed life upon them and now want to cut corners bc it's hard. They deserve the very best of what you can give them not the easiest option.

Faith in large part is supposed to be about having love for others through the love of God. However people sometimes think it’s idiotic to have faith but I think it’s a matter of what you believe :)

@@once861 Sure but like I said, that has nothing to do with capitalism. It’s entirely possible to derive self worth from more fulfilling measurements whilst still being in a capitalist system. Likewise, there’s nothing stopping inherently stopping a materialistic mindset in a socialist system. It sounds like you’re describing real problems but you’re falsely diagnosing the culprit to be capitalism as a whole. Things like insurance and healthcare ARE things that can be improved under a capitalist system.

As someone who is born with the gift to sense energy around me (including alive and dead) i didn't turn to some mythical guy, instead i went to my parents and we seeked out a therapist near us. Yes i did seek out others with the same gift for advice on how to make my core stronger and now i can turn my third eye on and off. Also yea i open doors but only to the other realm and not to our realm see it as a one way ticket. Ive sent over 70 folks and im only 20 years old, lets just say i have a strong core. Also feel free to ask me if you have any questions on things like how it really feels and also works.

unpopular opinion: Jewish culture is the biggest culture appropriation happening in the world and people don't realize that because its part of the Jewish fait when Judaism itself is an ethno-religion. meaning that all these "biblical" stories u hear, are traditionally Jewish history. and its not ok when u deny that it's Jewish culture, when ure an antisemite and when u deny jews right for self - determination as indigenous people in their ancestral homeland known as Israel / Judea. most names that end with "el" (Daniel, Ezekiel, Michael, Gabriel) are traditional Jewish names and people don't even acknowledge that. and people with these names are the most anti semetic people ive ever encounter.

i thot the creator was goin somewhere else with her statement ngl i have to laugh. as someone born and raised in a "new age" spiritual environment its very obvious this wave of social media spirituality can be damaging to the more impressionable audience. theres alot of misinformation and maybe even deceit and if people arent cautious when beginning their spiritual journey they could fuck around w the other side in ways they shouldnt. but on the other hand spirituality itself is not the problem, when taken seriously (&w proper education) it is a tool that assists u through hardships, helps you heal & build connections . also astrology literally has nothing to do with any of the other shit except that alot of people interested in spirituality are also into astrology 😂😂

It's so irritating, many preachers pastors are working hard to make people understand that you still a human, you cry,you eat just like everyone else. There are studies about mental health and many leaders have psychological degrees to make people understand that depression, anxiety, or even fever is a thing, I'm not saying that God can't cure you or be your consolation, and I'm not dismissing the whole spirituality, that exists for real. But if a person do drugs and start Allucinating that's just the drugs effect, pray and get help too, the prayer gives you internal straight, aawakenin and the institution who you are will guide you to externalize it. Even the Bible says that God stands up the last, if the medicines, doctors, psychologist, scientists can't help you, God stands the last by his grace, because praying asking to God to save you from a illness doesn't mean that it's mandatory for you to survive, if you are going to die... You are going to die. We need to equilibrate everything. And for the 666 girl..... 😩 it's a man's number, it is a clue to help find one person not a whole race, it's like a math exercise,not concrete but a schema. Satanists have been using this name as a prayer for that man since they also don't know who he is, so it's more like " Look we praise you before you even take the power"

Ok i have a question im dutch so from the Netherlands buuuut do Americans or other countries learn as much about slavery and history as i did in school?
@chickennugget79653 жыл бұрын
Well in America, we learn about slavery (at least where im from). It is a big part of history. We learn about the trans-Atlantic slave trade and how slaves were shipped to the islands and south America before they reached north America. We also learn about slave rebellions in Haiti. We learn about the dutch in africa too. Also about the caste system created by the spanish. So yeah and no, because the education system doesnt want white people to feel guilty about slavery

in short: it depends on what school one went to and what region. we still plenty of information online and in books. in depth: my experience, I went to a private institution most of my academic life and the curriculum is harder and learned a different, fast-paced level due to donors to are willing to pay to provide an education... whereas in public institutions; the budget is extremely low and these kind of teachers are more known for paying out of pocket for supplies. particularly, in the South, generally, the textbooks usually aren't updated and don't expound. in America, politicians care about guns than children; therefore, statistically there's more money allocated for weaponry than education. but as far as the topic of the horrors of slavery/indentured servitude; information is LITERALLY at our fingertips. many people simply just don't care OR have [what I like to call] "child ears" . the topic of slavery is seen as taboo to discuss and people feel uncomfortable talking about reparations or those who were enslaved being r*ped by slaveowners and becoming and birthing children who end up working in the same fields as them. that REALITY of horrors is seen as "well, that was a long time ago, blah, blah, blah" 🙄 ... so discussing this regardless if people have absolute knowledge or completely ignorant; is waved off as 'impolite'.
