What is Spatial Resolution in Remote Sensing?

Spatial Resolution describes how much detail in a photographic image is visible to the human eye. The ability to "resolve," or separate, small details is one way of describing what we call spatial resolution.
Spatial resolution of images acquired by satellite sensor systems is usually expressed in meters.

It base on the you use the spectrum scan by photon different imagine the distance as small as 3.3×10^-43 in an in of cc'd array then you can enlarge it to the able to see even 1×10^-10 m from a distance l /d= sine 45 and d = c × 2t = (64600 km/ s ) ×2t

100... since it is 10m resolution. A 100*100 m2 football ground can be divided into 10 rows and columns of 10m length. So 10*10 = 100 pixels will be the answer.
