What is Spin Efficiency?

Thanks! So how does spin efficiency impact pitch movement? For example, is a foursesm fastball with 96% efficiency going to have more vertical or horizontal movement than a fourseamer with 93% efficiency?

That's very complicated. The second pitch will have 3% less movement from spin (and in the spin direction). But losing efficiency gives the opportunity for Seam Shifted Wake. If the ball is oriented well, it can replace the lost movement. The SSW movement is usually in a different direction that spin. For a 4S, SSW leads to additional ride and cut.
