Decided to watch this while sewing luttle plush stars to paint and sew to my pants, since I'm using baby blue scrap material now I'm tempted to keep some baby blue, the style is very cute! I can't afford any of the fashion brands so I usually DIY everything, from clothes all the way down to accessories. Finally gives me an excuse to repurpose my track outfit, though it's black and white, so hopefully a variation is fine.

⁠@Kig Research Institute Last night I reached out to Nuta for more clarification about the other colors situation and Nuta said “It's a difficult thing because I haven't in any other color called it "Tenshi-Kaiwai" yet, but at this point, I'm calling light blue, white, gray, etc. "Tenshi-Kaiwai", I think it would be good to give each color a different name! 💭” These are Nuta’s thoughts on the matter. Like we discussed, they just came up with the term last year so it’s all quite new so when things are new, it takes some time to figure out. We’re all just learning and growing as we go and having fun with the fashion together 👍🏼 My personal thought is that there’s nothing wrong with using both terms. Even Nuta uses both terms for hashtags. Just like how you can call a Decora outfit “Decora” or “Harajuku fashion”, since both those terms are what a Decora outfit is if that makes sense haha

I was seeing outfits from people with Nintendo (edit realized I was vague here. I mean like logos, wii especially. I just got a wii bag and the Koss porta pro-on headphones! Not the small round ones but a different model with like edges and all) and light blue, white, and grey themes. I’m not sure what came first but it really doesn’t matter. All these styles influence each other and I have to say I’m into the unique delicate touch of this aesthetic with the laces, it’s like a gamer aesthetic that’s actually cute…

its still a pretty new style so there isnt really an official name for a pink version of tenshi kaiwai, but the name u suggested sounds pretty cute! considering that there are pink versions of certain tenshi kaiwai pieces, it may become a substyle of tenshi kaiwai

“サブカル” or “サブカル系” =sabukaru/subcul that is mentioned in the vid as it can include basically any color combination (most commonly involving either black or white). Apart from ACDC Rag, other jap brands like Anonenone, Ililil, Hauls, Reflem, KRY have some white x pink sporty clothes and even brands like Noemie and Dear My Love carry a few similar items though with a more pale shade of pink. Hope this helps!
