Hi Paul, new subscriber and relatively new coin collector here - I'm binging your videos and loving loving them, learning a lot! I'm a language nerd, thought you might like to know that the phrase "Honi soit qui mal y pense" is actually in Anglo-Norman, not Latin. Anglo-Norman was the language spoken by the ruling classes of England in the mediaeval period. It's basically a dialect of Middle French. So you have no need to fear the pronunciation in future, it's something to the tune of /oni swa ki mal ee ponce/ 😀

Yes there are. You wait until you get into die no on Victorian young head half sovereigns sixpences, and shillings. And different heights of the bust of the Queen.

Hi Paul, from 1897, also the Vic Old Head farthings were blackened to avoid being passed as 1/2 sovereigns a process if I recall correctly using sodium thiosulphate which gave a black copper sulphate on the blanc surface, the bright issue resumed in 1918 when the gild standard ceased, but was retained on the Union coins of South Africa as they kept the gold standard until (I think) the 1960's.

Hello Paul, I work at the Royal mint Wales, Total mintage for withdrawn type 3,675,607 all types including crowned sixpence wreath type the same, young head the same. All have total mintage above. Hope that helps.
