There are a few (or majority ) of Indians that say that the woman's prayer is slightly different from a man's and they make fun of me from praying normally. For example, 1. They bind their hands over/above their breasts and it honestly looks weird. 2. They don't bend 90 degrees for Rukuu. They bend only 30 degrees or so. 3. While in sujood the body is compressed. They say that the women's chest should touch her stomach. 4. They don't directly go into sujood. They first sit and then afterwards bend into sujood. I would like to know a scholar's opinion on this.

Dear believer , think to yourself did the prophet (pbuh) say there is a difference between the salah of males and females, NO my dear sister/brother watch dr zakir nikes bayaan on the placement of hands in salah and how salah should be conducted and there are 2 hadith which state there is no difference, wallahi i hate to look at what our ummah is these days, those Indians made that way of prayer themselves without seeing/being eductaed on the way our prophet (pbuh) prayed his salah and surely those people will have their salah thrown on them on the day of qiyamah

Yes the prayer is valid but it is not a sunnah, doing it without knowledge of it is ok, but doing it while you know the Hadith is unauthentic is a bidah, there is no reason to pray with your arms down, prayer is something that should be done correctly, not to see if something invalidates your prayer or not, pray correctly like how the sunnah says, however if your arms are *extremely* sore and it hurts to bring them up then you can make changes to your prayer, just remember Allah (swt) doesn’t want you to suffer

But hadith is saheeh because it is corroborated by report of Musnad Ahmed.The word 'Sadr' in Arabic linguistics means area above navel upto level of throat and Ibn Qudamah Al Maqdisi rahimullah utilised this report in Al Mughni as evidence for placing hands above navel.Chest in English doesn't mean the same chest in Arabic.To be updated,recently watch his video on manhaj as salaf he said sunnah is to place hands on chest and he made a rujoo.
