Take your time, be patient. The westerner, unlike the central and eastern European, needs to be very careful not to project and lust after the ends. Set an alarm, and be in the moment of the practice during it. These temptations/distractions will rise in him during the practice, these are his own tendencies. Rather than labelling all thought, say a gentle neutral 'no' in your mind responding to sinful thought and temptation, and return to the concentrations and prayer

DNA is a storage medium. The information stored is a recombinant aggregate spacetime differential. The observer effect (physics) suggests that mere perception alters the flow of exterior reality in subtle ways. Epigenetics suggest that attitude reorders the fundamental building blocks of a lifeform's internal reality. Therefore interaction with consciousness alters reality both internally and externally. It is therefore reasonable to assume that the purpose of Life writ large in the Universe is to differentiate spacetime (no other known force can), and the purpose of consciousness within that framework is to actuate the differentiation.

Western Europeans ARE Central Europeans as Central Europeans ARE Western Europeans. I think your problem is belief in an anti-Roman aka anti-European Jevvish revolutionary on a stick.

A week ago I was watching the craziness in the U.K. unfold, and decided rather than doom scroll I'd do something useful instead. I put my earphones on and played the abolition of man by C.S. Lewis and got to doing some work. By the time the book was over I was a christian. What happened to me was strange, and wonderful to say the least. I'm in the process of making the changes to my life that it requires and i just wanted to let you know how important (and extraordinarily well timed) this video is. Thank you.

Thanks for this Scott, I've been looking into initiation for the last couple of days and this is really useful as a 'just start doing something now'. And given the timing, a little bit of synchronicity should always be paid attention too.

while you start, absolutely do the preparations too. Meditations on the Tarot is THE book, as well as Thombergs other writings.

Thank you for this inspiring video, it has already reinvigorated my practice. This is the video that made me finally join the website.

I would like to raise the following: We have all these amazing systems given to us. We are able to balance our gases internal to heal our body through breathing, reduce anxiety, harness the mind to self heal, all of these gifts. Why is it sacrilege to use them with reverence to the Source? The pineal information center can be unlocked, the imagination and the intuition improved through disciplines of the body and breathing. Of course I will concede all these can be engaged with in reverence or hubris. The line is thin and transparent. Why are we encouraged to use discernment which was gifted to us by the Source, but not the breath..? Using both maliciously can lead to carnage, but surely with responsible technique this can be avoided? We don't breathe in order to get high, we breathe because we must and insome ways it helps us calm our mind enough to see reality again past the internal filter which causes our anxieties. TLDR: why can't we self heal responsibly if we were gifted the ability by the Source?

The answer to that requires a video, it is a complex metaphysical issue centred around the technicalisation that nihilates, a technicalisation that causes you to start calling God 'Source', or Thing, and separates you from the personal loving God, the father, who incarnated once as Jesus Christ partly to save and heal this problem.

@@ScottMannion oh to clarify, Source is God and it is loving. I hesitate to personify God because that's humanizing the incomprehensible and the ineffable. I do believe Jesus came as a God incarnate but I also see that all that's given to us, to demonize a technique is to fail to give humans the benefit of the doubt...

I'm fascinated by your destinction between the Eastern practice (technical) and the Christianic practice (grace). I haven't thought about it in this way... I wonder if there are also non-technical practices outside of the Christian context which meet the same spiritual level?

This is explored in my video presentation on mysticism. Hope it helps!
