As for charging, all newer United jets have charging but they do still fly some older ones that haven't been upgraded.

I like the format. I have to be honest we try to avoid LAX if we can, so I found a couple of comments spot on in regard to it. The last two years all our "short" flights have been Allegiant or Frontier, but all our longer flights including international have been on one of these carriers (well except for one with British which was a really good flight) so I was interested in your "reviews". We like Delta just a bit better, but have not been disappointed by United. Next summer we will again look at them as well as American. Thanks for sharing your insight.

Loved how you presented this comparison of Delta and United. I'm a Delta girl but have flown other airlines as well. Will add that if you are AMEX SkyMiles member you always get one free checked bag. I always have a small roll on bag and crossbody purse. Since we live in GA, have access to many direct flights from Hartsfield Int. Look forward for you doing MOR comparison videos!!

I don’t love united but they have the most flights from Newark and lately they’ve been the cheapest directly. Which is surprising. They’re also the only one with a direct flight to Lima. Baggage fees are ridiculous.

@@TheAwkwardTourists if you book basic economy they don't give you anything. My flight to Seattle is $60 for a checked bag and $100 to carry one on. Which is actually low I supposed since I've been on some where it's $120 for a checked bag. I think the fee to carry one on is ridiculous. It's the price to check it + $20. If you fly basic overseas they give you a carry on. I really don't want to check a bag but I guess its cheaper than a carry on. Which is really weird to me.

I flew United to New York from Los Angeles on a 787-10 2 weeks ago and flew back to Los Angeles on Delta the other day on an A330-900 and I actually found Delta more better

Did you add your TSA number to your mileage number or reservation? If you don't see it, stop at the counter and they would add it for you. That goes with all airlines.

Delta really is a step above the rest….Free wifi for all is super cool and their Sky Clubs, especially the new one at LAX with the outdoor bar rock ! Won’t fly United as at 6’2” it’s painful…..

United's legroom on average is not significantly different than Delta, and is better than AA. For United, newer planes have better legroom than older planes. Newer planes like the MAX are on par with Delta, while older planes are on par with AA

@@petern6808 makes sense. Their older 737s and Airbuses have a seat with a hard plastic piece and a net. Newer 737s have a different design, instead of plastic and a net, there's a piece of leather instead, and that makes legroom on those seem not too different from what you find on Delta.

I think United basic economy doesn't include a carry on. Also on some flgihts, the overhead fills up by the last few boarding groups although on the newer planes, they have made room to accomodate a carry on for every passenger.

United!!!! The airline has improved so much under the new management. Delta has always let me down… I’m so impressed with the new United Airlines!!! The United International service is so much better than anything I’ve experienced on Delta. Polaris is much better… I love the bedding…!!!😳😳😳 All I can say is avoid American!!!!

The United Polaris is a solid product. I fly to Asia using Polaris and domestically fly Delta. The D1 cannot justify its price and is well below Polaris regarding overall product comparison.

I've been on plenty of 757's out of Ft Lauderdale and Delta announces no room for carry ons for those later boarding groups, this is common.

I find it really common even on American that passengers are only allowed personal items. Maybe it's just that I tend to be on small planes... but it ends up taking forever to deplane because everyone is crowding the jetway waiting for valet. I tend to be on American more often than not lately because it tends to be more direct from DC... and the terminal is nicer. I used to think nothing of many connections to save a few bucks... but then there were always delays and getting stuck... so I love a direct flight now!

I fly three times a year for the past 10 years from LAX to JFK and JFK back to LAX. I fly business class only and have flown both airlines but I stick with DELTA. Both United and Delta are great but Delta's DELTA ONE is just better.

Everyone is saying that delta is better than United. United is my fav airline out of all of the airlines out there! :( I flew delta’s 737-800 and it had a pretty nice IFE and United had a pretty good one too! Also, United is adding on A321s to their fleet!
