Heads up for anyone watching this, all the Prince's physical skills actually key off whichever damage stat is higher, letting you do stacked damage regardless of how you build your protag. I don't know why it doesn't tell you this in game, but it's really nice.

I want to add a few things I ran into during my playthrough. Specifically regarding Wizard/Commander/Thief combo. This setup gives you a fast and easy way to replenish MP really fast in any dungeon and allows you to use Debt Collection early in the game for massive MAG gains. Give 3 party members the Wizard archetype and unlock Shield Blessing, inherit Plunder Magic from Thief and Debt Collection from Merchant. Give one party member Commander archetype and equip him with Leader's Semaphore (purchase it in Martira) and inherit Shield Blessing and Plunder Magic. Every time you go into the fight all of your characters will regen 10 MP at the start of their turn, use Plunder Magic and this gives you 10 more. That's 20MP for free for each character. It makes MP farm infinitely faster than using the mage overworld attack.

Regarding MP/HP recovery passives, while you can't stack 2 passives of the same size, eg: Medium + Medium or High + High, you can definitely stack 1 of each size, and early-mid game you can inherit Wizard's passive, Shield's Blessing to use with a Knight, or anything else as it will automatically trigger if combined with any passive skill or equipment that gives you a pre-buff.

Great video! Your tier lists are really detailed and they take into account where you are in the game. Do you think you could also do a video about all the ways you can add turns for yourself, get turns from ko’ing an enemy like bamboo splitter and ways of depleting enemy turns? That would be cool.

While Warlord is not a noble class...I still use it with half synthesis cost because you can keep your whole team max buffed for 35 MP. Back row boost paired with Bardons back row boost rank 4 defense buff is ridiculous for defense. With royal thief tanking as well, you basically cant lose.

Warlock and Devil Summoner. Warlock basically nothing other than hyper and Devil Summoner can't inherit Summoner's summons so it covers less. It would be better if it had any passive. The Warlock should be more like a necromancer or dark sage class class.

i agree on some of it, but definitely not all. prince, royal berserker, royal masked dancer, tycoon and trickster should get their own tier tbh. you don't need anything besides those 5 classes for endgame. tycoon + trickster kills all mobs with 0 mp cost almighty aoe dmg synergies so you can reach the boss stages full health and mp. prince hits insanely hard with royal sword and hero cry is busted. masked dancer has the best dmg buffing synergy in the game with her aoe charge and can learn +2 attack from commander line to be the only buffer you need and has the masks to cover whatever else you need. Royal berserker has the highest str in the game, weakness implant, resist ignore and synergies that can aoe resist ignore or buff strip the enemy, on top of getting free turns on crit. Meanwhile trickster can give you infinite turns with fakers roguery which let's you 1-2 turn pretty much anything endgame and has debuffs to help your team. Thief just can't keep up with the dmg of other royal classes and if you wanna run dodge tank heim, just put him on trickster instead for even more benefits. I'd even argue he's the best user for that, since trickster only cares about agi. Knight line doesn't have much use lategame, where everything is aoe, it's too defensive and the game is built around nuking the boss asap i'd move all of them down to B tbh, only use i can see is swapping hulk in to use proclemation when you know the turn is over anyway so you get an additional turn for next time. That's very gimmicky tho. Summoner does everything, but excels in nothing so it always gets outperformed in something by another class. Warrior can outdmg berserker but needs synergies and is much harder to reach the full potential, zerk just spams weakness implant for big numbers , no build up required. also lacks versatility, it's purely self buffing. Warlord should be in the same tier with them, since he provides aoe max stats to the party on synergy and has some great passives to buff the team, if royal masked dancer wouldn't exist he'd be the best buffer.

You can run Knight end game because of the barrier skill, but yeah at that point it becomes preference because there are more straight-forward classes, and Masked Dancer with some extra support inherited + a good mask basically provides all support roles in 1, though I'm of the opinion that it's most optimal to run 2 separate support characters. If you are running Prince he's best as a dps tank even if you have another dps unit. Warlord is definitely an underrated pick for endgame, just slap Utilitarian's manual and spam Dynast Formation, maybe unlock the Elemental Master passive to halve MP cost for synergy. Warlord and Masked Dancer/PM/RMD with Prince and Royal Berserker and Royal Knight is effectively outclassed, doesn't matter if he can do more damage than Prince, he's at best on par with Berserker but with less utility, Prince's Royal Slash is just better Peerless Stonecleaver anyway because it's Almighty damage, and nothing RK does can even compare with Hero's Cry anyway (+ you get another free turn if you use the gear you get for unlocking all archetypes with MC, that can be used only if you have Prince equipped). So end-game is a no brainer if you're doing Hard or Regicide you probably want to go with this setup all the time. For NG+ I'm gonna be trying to have fun using the less explored archetypes that I didn't get to use much though.

Don't get me wrong, I abused Merchant and Tyccoon since I got each, feelsgood to just not care about having to save money or pick and choose what gear to buy, even though anything after Grand Trad gets you better equipment from drops, treasure and quest rewards than shops do, and the rare instances where shop equipment of any type is better it only lasts until the very next dungeon. That being said, Merchant lineage gets extremely boring to use, it actually needs a lot of inherited skills to be less of an headache, although the investment pays off massively for stuff like MAG grinding, which is also money grinding even if it's not recommended to trade MAG I have done so when the weather aligns, with Brigitta's passive and turn 100k MAG, which is trivial to farm, which in turn translates into over 1 million revel. But it is boringto be using the same thing over and over. But sure, get the right setup, with a party AGI buffer and spam that 777 and nothing can stop you, Almighty damage on top of that because there's nothing money can't buy.

IMO: The Archetype system is bad, it seems meaningless compared to other Job system. If some innate skills of Archetype can adjust/replace/change (whatever), maybe it will be more fun.

It does have its flaws for sure but I'm not going to beat up Atlus for it. Its their first time doing this in the SMT/Persona games so hopefully they listen to actual feedback and make it better going forward if they even decide to bring it back.
