I named my non-ridable camels "Peterbilt" and "Kenworth." The mountable is named "Paccar." Guess what I use them for?

The best place to get foals are southeast of the mounds of the dead, west of the river. To the left of the mountain of iron.

Actually, the only stats worth growing are Vitality and Grit. Since they took away horses' attack a long time ago, leveling Strength on them (or camels) doesn't do anything. The damage you do while mounted is based on *your* attributes + the speed you're going (trampling is based solely on speed). The only exception is the Rhino, since they do have an attack. Agility lowers the scattering of your shots while moving, but it's only noticeable at 50+ Agility and barely, so you're better off not bothering with it. Also, the DLC horses have the advantage that feeding them Bark gives +14% growth chance on Grit, and many other foods also increase Grit. Regular horses get +14% Agility from Bark and don't have any food to increase Grit growth. Since AoS Ch.3, any melee damage you take from players knocks you off a mount regardless of Endurance (NPCs still need to deplete Endurance first), so that pretty much removed mounted combat in PvP and shafted Rhinos out of the game.

It's the camel no question. The others don't even come close. The extra carrying capacity is just such a big advantage. My horses rarely get used anymore... and rhinos just suck all around.
