First of all, telling the result of the competition on the description of the video if you're ranking the houses will remove reason for people to watch the video through to the end. Second of all, considering the looks of the houses as a category doesn't mean much, as it ends up depending on your skill as a builder and how much effort you put into it. Third of all, as for materials / building difficulty, building a normal house uses more effort than building any underground or hill house, as not only will you need to break blocks first and then place them down, but also you have to climb on top of something to reach high enough. Digging will always be easier. Specially if you just don't bother replacing the walls and floor blocks to get better looks. Fourth of all, underground houses really are practical, as far as allowing easy access to a lower Y level goes, but vertical entrances require more work to make and take more time to use, also being unsafe against mobs. Grounded houses are *NOT* easy to build, that's not a valid point for practicity. Might be easy with cheats, but it's not in survival, plus it takes quite a while. Building a hill house with a glass roof and no second exit is a dandy way to get camped by a creeper, forcing you to break your own walls down if you don't want to deal with it head on. Fifth of all, underground houses have trash safety if you don't manage it properly with walls and doors, slap some doors on your mineshaft entrances and make sure your exits are plenty and either easy to use, or well guarded from mobs. In your case, it's really unsafe, as there is only a single trapdoor exit. *I don't think I need to tell you how hard it is to fight off mobs while stuck in a hole in the ground with ladders and a trapdoor in your way.* Grounded houses are very safe, if you have multiple exits and properly placed windows. Hill houses are also very safe, since it's easy to make multiple easy to use exits by just digging a 1x2 tunnel right out of the wall, your single exit glass roof design has bad security though. And last of all, the best first house is a hole in the wall, thats it. Still has room outside for a garden which you said is the grounded house's overall quality over the other options. Plus it's easily expandable, easy to make safe, easy to rebuild, easy to start making, and can be built in an emergency in just about any wall whenever you need it. Plus it's easy to decorate since it only has a single wall outside and MAYBE a roof you have to think about, and the interior wont conflict with the exterior since 80% of the interior doesn't interact with the outside at all. *Conclusion* Unfortunately your logic is questionable and your video wasn't very organized or entertaining, so I will not subscribe. Please use your brain more, and work on the video's overall flow and quality. Making a script or just organizing your thoughts before recording will help you alot. Learn to at least present information to the viewers in a less confusing and more organized manner, learning to edit your videos, even if it's just cutting them and adding background music, will also improve the quality greatly. If you have read everything so far, then you don't need to read what I'll write next, but just in case you skipped to this last paragraph, know that if you never stop to listen to proper constructive criticism you'll never get anywhere with anything you create, now go back and read it or you'll take way too long to get good, and might never get good at all.

@@problyNotJava Ok, thanks for the information! I of course will make a script for my videos, and the ratings of the houses were just in my opinion.
