My face when you put Fantastic in the lowest tier was the same look I had when Cait dragged Vi in font of Ambessa. I see your game! You get the same look in your eye for that song as Cait does when Vi calls her cupcake lol Great tier list. I mostly agree with your ranking, though for me Hellfire is probably in my top 3 and Molotov cocktail maybe a smidge higher, but like you, I think I just like it because of the scene and how well they go together. Lookin' forward to Imagine Me & You. One of my favourite little movies. Not too heavy, and a great little romance. Also lookin' forward to Blue Eye Samurai. The way they depict misogyny is so real sometimes its a bit painful to watch but overall the show is really well done.

100% with you on the Freya Ridings song. That's definitely the one that has stuck in my mind constantly since watching that episode. The second one for me is Wasteland, again because the song fits so perfectly with the scene in which it is used. And maybe I'm just a manic depressive and am drawn towards sad scenes and songs! 😂 A lot of the soundtrack to Arcane was stuff that I would never listen to, but it still fit the show so well. The show was a masterpiece because *everything* came together so well.

As always, I really enjoyed watching this ranking video Claudie. For me, in general, the songs in S2 fitted the scenes better than in S1 and there are more of them of course. I my list I would also put most S1 songs in the middle tiers and S2 songs in the bottom or top tiers. My personal top tier would be; Ma Mielleure Ennemie, Fantasic, Come Play, and The Line. This is all S2 but this could be because I saw S1 two years ago for the last time.

My top song for S1 is Playground & Goodbye, everytime that song come out from playlist I feel like main character ready to act lmao 😂 In S2, when the trailer come out, Paint the town blue is top song but then when Act1 come out, I can't stop listen to Sucker but after that, I always listen, Spin The Wheels, Timebomb song, Fantastic and The Line, in their spesific order haha it feels right that way. I would agree with the list on the whole. What makes Season 2 special for me is that the songs fit the scenes perfectly and I had less of that in Season 1. This is fun, thanks. And congrats on 2k subs! I think I'd have 2 extra tiers: "Stockholm syndrome" for Enemy. Its fine but I wouldnt actually listen to it but also I love it and can't ever skip it. "Can't bring myself to listen" for both Remember Me and Spin the Wheel. That melancholy vibe they have just wrecks me and I literally cant listen to them even though I love them. Is there an artist that you would have liked to hear do a song for Arcane? If I had to pick itd be the japanese artist Ado. She recently did a colab with Imagine Dragons and seems to be getting more attention with western audiences now. I think she would have been incredible for arcane because her energy matches (or even exceeds) the show, she is incredibly talented vocally, and she could pull off every style that was in the show.

Always love to see your tier lists! I think I generally have the same opinion as you in that season 2 has more highs but also more lows than season 1 in terms of music for me personally. If you’re at all interested: since Arcane I’ve also been listening to more of King Princess’ other work and it’s really good as well! It’s difficult for me to rate the songs outside the context of the show. My mind immediately jumps to the related scene when I hear them. Proof that Arcane’s marriage of visual art and music is impeccable. “What Could Have Been” is hands down my #1. Violin is my favorite instrument and Ray Chen knocks it out of the park. The vocals and instrumentals were perfectly synchronized to the action on screen. The “Whyyyyyyy don’t you love who I am” as the rocket blasts out of Jinx’s gun, Caitlyn’s slow motion scream as it fades to Cassandra’s face, and that final hushed “What could have been” just before the warhead quite literally smashes all hope for peace. OMG, it’s sooooooooooooo good. I honestly don’t know how people waited 3 years for season 2. I would have gone insane!

Music is subjective, so it doesn't matter at all what others think about the order you have placed the songs in, for most of the list I agree, (I would have placed “Rebel Heart” higher but only because it is the style of music I like) Oh no! haha I was about to comment: Yes! finally someone that actually thinks that “Fantastic” is overrated.. Oops! 😛oh well, entre gustos y colores… as we would say in Spanish.. But I am agree, “What could have been” has the crown. Never saw the first squid game, I could react to it, but not sure if it's my thing. I've got it noted though, could be a good thing to watch. In Korean or English do you reckon, if I was to?

@@ClaudieTV In Korean. Honestly, dub just takes away the soul of any original content. But hey, if it's not your thing, that's totally cool. The show has violence but it isn’t overly gory. When I think of "gory" I picture guts and horror vibes, but it’s not like that. The flawed main character and the relatable cast really draw you in, and the storytelling is on point. You might even shed a tear along the way. What’s truly fascinating is the concept, and how the show is a giant metaphor for the fragility of humans in society. Plus, it's a very visually interesting show (the colours also serve as a visual distraction from the gore). It might not be the best Korean show ever, but it’s definitely a solid one with an engaging plot, relatable themes, and some solid social commentary. I’d totally recommend giving it a try!

"Imagine me and you" is a cute classic, I wasn't expecting that (or any other sapphic thing haha), it's been ages since I watched it, so it will be nice to rewatch it with you in the comments. "Fleabag", one of the best shows I've ever seen, love it!. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is phenomenal, just her cheeky face makes me laugh 😆

to me... i think you can name 8 songs from 1st season and i will answer that's in my TOP 3 without thinking about it... same for 2nd season (despite fact that i like soundtrack for 2nd season little bit more)... that's how much brain damage Arcane did to me!!! (but no seriously i kinda adore Riot for making lot of pretty good music)... O=) As a hopeless CaitViholic i have kinda love and hate relationship with "Fantastic" because... it's very frustrating to know that i will never be able find better song for CaitVi video edit... =( I kinda don't like Isha's song so much... don't know why... somehow... it don't work for me. also... "Come play" is such a fitting song to Jinx arriving with Zaun cavallery... Its funny how mine is verry different with the top and last. For me Rebel Heart is way higher and Paint The Town Blue is my least favorite. Don't ask me why just vibes, its still fantastic.
