The reference point is the Key. And its very personal

Great information. I've been trading for just over a year, and this is 100% true. You need reference points relative to where you buy, and a different one for where you sell. The best reference points are: Fibonacci levels, Standard Deviation channels, Pivot Points, HOD, LOD, Previous Day's Close, Previous Day's High, Previous Day's Low, Whole/Half dollar amounts, etc. The 10-min chart works best for me as an intraday trader, because I can see how price action pivots around the aforementioned reference points better -- the 5-min chart has too many false breakouts. Wait for the 10-min candle to complete, for confirmation.

I failed to mention that exponential moving averages and VWAP can be used as great reference points as well -- especially on the Bull Flag pattern. I use the 9, 21, 50, and 100-ema.

Great explanation, Mark! Whatever it was but I want to repeat it: there are not so many great teachers like you are able to explain in a few minutes important concepts

I totally agree. He has touched almost every single aspect relative to trading and technicals. I’d recommend his channel to any newbie getting into the game. A lot of these topics aren’t even talked about by the so called pros who have been in the game for years. The market keeps evolving! We all have to adapt to it

What's up guys... : Forex has it's own logic, i mean there are patterns, news (fundamentals) which are largely anticipated, structures... but also something i would call Market Breath, ie. if every buyer is filled, if they had enough time to buy, logically they are in sell mode and what ever happens then, it will not reverse their mind. It's an internal logic... my 2cts.

you're a very smart guy. I'm amazed how you've been able to always find what to tell us about for already so big period of time. And in every video I watched I found so many interesting stuff for myself. My question: What's gonna happen when everyone in the game will become educated? Will it be harder for an average person to become a profitable trader?

Hi Mark a big fan of your channel. Can you pls talk on Harmonic patterns or so called bearish and bullish butterflies. I was drawing my technicals and had to triangles meet at the very point and knew it was the butterfly 🦋 pattern that I’d come across of KZbin but didn’t know what to do next with it. And it went bearish even tho some video said it was a bullish signal lol happened on Dax (German 30) yesterday

Yeah i would like a reliable method for trading, something i just have to apply. Maybe in the scalping business, you need it. But i'm not working like that. Every morning, my question is, UP or Down ? And i'm starting to look for clues... yesterday i couldn't decide before 14h40 (UTC + 2).... so very late. Because there where still strong up moves and the 1,186 level hold... so good luck everyone...

Now i could anticipate the last move in EURUSD, since 17h30... my broker's ass is begining to hurt a lot. EDIT, today, 9 Sept i'm bearish on the euro, why ...? because, the volatility is still low, on H1 just to illustrate my way of thinking. But we have important news today also. OTHO, we can't stay on the 1,18 level, i should have noticed that yesterday. But i'm blind...
