So what's the tipping point? After how many packs is the extended value left less than a pack on average?

It depends on how good your packs are. There isn't a consistent measurement unfortunately.

I have the chance to buy a box of Floodborn for 153 after tax. This video was perfect for helping me decide if I wanted it or not. I do, because I like opening packs. You made me see it's as not financially smart, it's just serotonin for me. 😂
