Great to see you back Gwen. I love to warm up and start my work with mark making as well. Such freedom and fun. This is my preferred way to start. If I use a thumbnail it would be after all the mark making. Just loved this video. You were missed!

I love to use a rag. Start painting any which way, then draw with your rag. Wipe out the shapes, smear them. That's the surface to start from. You can't get any looser.
