Love this video. Gotta say it's filled with a lot of Michael Scott "Thats what she said" opportunities 😂😂

I've been rocking both the 8Bit Do Pro 2 and the 8bit Switch controllers for a long time now and I have to agree with you. They're my favorite in the same order as you. You failed to mention some important things about the Ultimate controller though. The Hall Effect sticks mean a life-long driftless experience. The longevity of the controller is a huge selling point. But ONLY the Ultimate Bluetooth one has the Hall Effect sticks. The Ultimate 2.4g is cheaper and has fewer features. Also, there's a "secret" feature to wake up your Switch with them. If you try to wake up you switch with them it doesn't work most of the time, but if you give the controller a shake when trying to wake it up, it then works lol. I think it may be a bug. Like the controller may have a false press detector or something so it needs to sense some motion and a button press. I'm not sure. The Ultimate Bluetooth controller is the best Switch controller in my eyes. And the 8Bit Pro 2 controller takes second place. As far as NFC, I just pop of the NFC joy-con and scan, then put it back on the switch.

Great insight. I am satisfied w Nintendo's standard pro controller. Good to know though. Thanks Maple!

I've only used one pro controller, the 8BitDo Pro 2. It's served me well the last 7 months. I have xl hands so I suppose a minor gripe would be it could stand to be 20% larger in every dimension and maybe have a slight palm swell at the bottom of the handles to get a better purchase and have easier access to all the buttons without having to shift my hands around to use all the triggers with the other buttons. I might slightly prefer a chunkier controller but I'm perfectly satisfied with the build quality, sturdy buttons, battery life, motion controls, vibration, aesthetics, weight, and versatility if I ever use it for android or PC.

What an amazing video. Your videos are the best on youtube from the live streams in which Il always watch the playback because I can never catch the live streams which is fine. Please keep it up I never miss a video and your personality is top notch my friend. Your videos are kid friendly so I watch some of them with my 9 year old son and he loves your videos. One of the best channels on youtube no doubt about it. Your channel is a gem to me. Love you bro keep it up.

I need a controller. I had the power a nano. But a while back ago I feel I lost its responsiveness. I would press left or right and I felt like I wouldn't turn. So I gave it to my nephew. I'm thinking of going safe with a pro controller

I just play handheld with a Satisfye grip so I've never felt the need for a actual controller. If I ever do decide to pull the dock out and hook up to my TV I'd just grab the Switch Pro controller.

I love my NYXI Chaos controller, because I am an arm amputee, and the programmable buttons allows me to use L/ZL functions much easier. I played the entirety of TotK with it.

For me, The Enhanced Controller by PowerA (either if its wired or wireless) really does the job for me.

In terms of input lag would how is the controller? Is the bluetooth mode faster and more responsive on the switch or the 2.4ghz mode?

Wish you would have discussed the ability to "wake up" up the Switch remotely. That's kind of a pretty big and important feature many third-party controllers do not have.

I am pretty sure I did for the only 2 on the list that can do it. Unless it accidentally got cut. Only the official Pro and NYXI can do it.

Feeling with all those controllers a major contending winner in match for the heavy weight belt is missing or left out!!! Why isnt the GuliKit Kingkong 2 Pro there anywhere when its been out since 2022? And it can easily go toe to toe with the 8bitdo. They have all the best features and some prefer each but to see it missing sorry but doesnt feel like all comoetitors are in the match for the heavy weight belt. These 2 are the best tho you should add it and do a new video maybe? Not sure why it isnt.

@@MapleSyrupGamingandTech Great reply, succinct and to the point. Just ordered the KK3 this afternoon, hoping I enjoy it more than you did. Still incredibly happy with my Nintendo Pro Controller but wanted to try a second controller with hall effect sticks.
