The best part is: the Carian were so powerfull, that with less than 20 knights, they were able to go on stalemate with the champions of gold in the war. Their faith and their power came 100% from the space, they drawn their power from the very stars life force, and go toe to toe against the Erdtree

Shame that they mucked up the Carian Sorcery Sword so badly though. Leveled by Smithing Stones but can't change its AoW, be Buffed, nor Infused. It has a lackluster generic Impaling Thrust AoW. The Sorcery Scaling is so bad, that +25 CSS has worse spellcasting than most +0 Staves.

The Carian knights are my second favorite warriors in ER visually. They have a gorgeous mix of fashionable and functional armor with weapons and gear that are specifically attuned to their mix of magic and physical attacks. To me the only ones who top them are the Crucible Knights.

the moon is essentially some kind of eldritch being, there also may or may not be more than one moon(?) ranni has her dark moon, rennala has her full moon. the moons seem to on some level be akin to the greater will. and yeah you can see the moons yourself, they don't always show up but in certain locations they are guaranteed. wish we had more moon lore they are really interesting

I imagine the Carians as a clan of Liurnians based on the Welsh (Celtics) who mastered battle sorcery while the Raya Lucarians were another clan based on the Romans (Italics). On the other hand are the Numens of Leyndell who are based on Franco-Saxons and the Northerners like Godfrey and his tribe who are based on Vikings. Very interesting!
