I thought the catriona plague was more akin to the Ebola virus since it was referred to as hemorrhagic fever in the narration. The impression I got was that she wound up on a completely different world that happened to have a pandemic of a different sort rather than our own

Hey don’t know how else to send you a msg but you are kinda my Go to Witcher Expert lol.. So doing a play through of Witcher 3 first time on PC and playing off of my saves starting with w1. Anyway ran into somthing I never seen before?? In Oxenford at the college I looted a red glowing piece of paper. It talks about the 2 guys from Witcher 2 that I met in flotsam and wanted me to test the potion, and about its effect of reversing infertility? Letter 1 of 2 ? Is this just an Easter egg? Did I miss in all my other play throughs? Or just a pc thing?

That's a good question, I know the guys you mean from the witcher 2 but I never came across the paper from TW3. The probability is that it's an easter egg, but considering the impact of their research I'm surprised it wasn't expanded upon. I'm not sure if their experiments were ever successful though. And thank you, I wouldn't count myself as an expert, but definitely a massive fan :)
