I’m a Colorado native and my wife is from NY and were currently living in Denver. We have been thinking about moving to Columbus. Thanks for the info!

Absolutely! My wife and I made the move Denver-->Columbus in 2013! Our plan was to move back to Colorado in 2-4 years, but that all changed once we got settled in to Columbus.

Even though the house prices are lower, Columbus has high property taxes versus the national average. Even though Colorado is more expensive, the property taxes are a third of Ohio.
@LivingtheColumbusWay3 жыл бұрын
Property taxes are a bit steep here for sure.

@@LivingtheColumbusWay can you talk more about the property taxes esp in those expensive neighborhoods . I have the same concern

Been thinking about moving in general a lot. Your vids have been helpfull but i dont even know where to start. I want to switch from renting to owning but at 450 a month without any real give or take getting something decent seems impossible
@LivingtheColumbusWay4 жыл бұрын
Theo Merriman To me, house hacking is the absolute best first purchase anyone can make. For example buy a duplex live in 1/2 and rent the other half out. Using this method you should be able to subsidize your mortgage and hit that 450 a month. Shoot me an email or give me a call and I can walk you through it more thoroughly

How much to rent a house in northwest Columbus?
@LivingtheColumbusWay4 жыл бұрын
Depends on what neighborhood specifically...However, you should plan on spending approx $1000 for a 1 bed, $1200 for a 2 Bed and $1500 for a 3 bed in 43235....Does that help?

I just back from Columbus Ohio,the city was ok and the people are friendly ,the houses there not really expensive.columbus is a cheap city for housing but there nothing to visite there and for me I think if you go outside Columbus is better and more clean like Dublin or Powell and plain city too
