Paired with the meshy olive toned top, the teal look makes me think of a glamorous healer woman who lives in/around a bog. 💕 The teal lip colour is such an edgy look I feel like we haven't seen from you before, but understand why it's not up your alley in comparison to the palette.

That layering you did with the eyeshadows had my jaw OPEN. I would never have thought to layer that green shimmer over the pinks and purples to change them to those neutral beige/browns. I'm shocked how pretty and simple and shiny that eye look is. I would love to see more looks you do with it, because this is the first time I've seen a tutorial with the palette that actually has me interested in the colorstory! I really wish you'd give the brown lipstick a try too, I'd love to see on camera how that warm brown looks on you!! :)

I liked the lipstick on you. I think you are right that if you wear a color like that the eye look should be minimal. I also think it looks better with no bronzer on the skin though. Maybe a very light hint of blush but nothing heavy on the face.

I didn't want any of the makeup from this collection but like you I loved the floral design that had a vintage almost Art Nouveau quality & almost purchased the pretty chest of drawers that came if you bought the entire collection but was also available individually to purchase. The Magnetic lid that slides off is how Inglot does their palettes. It has pros and cons ... the biggest con being accidentally digging the lid into the shadow as you lift or replace it.

MY first thought was that it looked awkward. If you want to use the mirror to do your makeup you have to put the palette down. I think it's more practical when they are attached and you can do your makeup holding the palette and using the mirror. Perhaps not so much of an issue if you have a vanity to sit down at, but I do my makeup standing up in my bathroom, usually facing the window, and have nothing to put things down on.

I have only tried Cyber Bronze from Kaleidos and I didn't like the mattes. They didn't build well on each other for me. They are acceptable if I don't try to layer them. I hated this color story at first but over time it has piqued my interest. I don't want to buy it but I am curious about looks mixing the grungy shades with pastels. If I like those type of looks, I feel like I could recreate the looks with what I have. I hope someday you'll get to try the Sigma formula. I absolutely love their mattes. Some shimmers require so me work with glitter glue but I'm willing to put the work in because I love the mattes so much. If you still accepted subscriber gifts I might actually send it to you to try.

I found that to be the case with all of the first 5 futurism palettes. I won't buy more Kaleidos because of my experience with them. So disappointing because I love their colour stories. That light pink definitely doesn't look good on you by itself, but mixed with that green does. You looked so much better after that green was applied. And honestly I wasn't feeling that teal lip either, but that lip you put on at the end made the look you. It's definitely fun to play with color and experiment. I don't think any skin tone would look good. Maybe a darker skin color can support it and then just glam it up with a good strong blush.
