Q&A: “What is the difference between Druidism and Paganism? As I’m sure you know there are unlimited resources online and allot of it is quite confusing and contradictory. I’ve been doing some reading for a year and a half or so and it can get a bit overwhelming. As with everything I read on the web I believe only about a quarter of it.”... Relatable, anyone?!

Thank you for this. I use a text-to-speech often when reading content on the screen, but hearing this in a real voice is much nicer!

my wife and I are Pagans but its very hard to explain to people and other pagans as we don't follow the deities and the ceremonies we only worship the Goddess GAIA our Mother and the Father of the universe we celebrate spring as new life and Autumn as the Trees and Animals are going to sleep And the end of the year in thanks to GAIA for the water and food we have had we believe that all things are equal from trees, insects, Amoeba's to the Blue Whale and all the animals and plants in between as we are all created by GAIA our mother and the father of the universe( and not the Abrahamic God ) as for what form of Paganism this is we have no clue.

Just found your channel tonight and I’m perusing through the videos. I was very excited to hear you say “Celtic Isles” in this video. The term is one I’ve really only heard myself say until tonight, although I’m sure many others say it. I’m an American with the majority of my DNA tracing back to the isles, and as I continue my own educational journey into Celtic spirituality, it’s wonderful to have channels like this one that share their knowledge and experiences.

As someone with both pagan European and Native American heritage/cultural education, I'm very wary about cultural appropriation. I find myself experiencing internal struggle in terms of how to navigate a respectful practice. Any advice?

People get legitimately annoyed when someone borrows an idea and does not credit their source of inspiration, or when someone pretends to be much more authentic than they really are. Your typical keeper of ancient wisdom from a now (unfortunately) small and threatened native american group would like nothing more than to see their cultural treasures propagated rather than hoarded, as long as it is done in a respectful way. Of course, there may be exceptions, but how about you go ask? I am pretty confident what their answer will be. Do you think there are actually any accomplished Flamenco dancers from the old country who want non-Adalusians to stop doing their dance? Do you think many great African-Americans really want white musicians to stop with the jazz music? No. They want respect shown to the origins of these great forms of art. Doing the art in a fair-minded way is *more* respectful than avoiding it. As for modern Druidry, its reach is now far beyond Ireland of traditional Celtic lands. Go look up "Druidry (modern)" on wiki for a quick look. Also see the reference "World Druidry: A Globalizing Path of Nature Spirituality" from that same page.

what is the word you used after saying hello. I'm assuming its an Irish word and i was wondering if there are Irish greetings that don't directly translate to god be with you
