Im currently looking into flight school, and would Love to work for an American airline, but I am not an American citizen and don't have a US passport. I am born in Canada and also have my portugal citizen card that allows me to work and live anywhere in europe, I cant decide between Canada or Europe for training and possible living and working in one of them What are your thoughts between europe and canada Licence

Chest Allergy Captain, they can pass the medical examination For pilots for EASA license

It depends on how severe your allergy is. As a general rule, anything that would affect your performance will hander your medical examination.

Hi captain , if I want to work in any middle-eastern country , so would I hold a license complied with ICAO or EASA ?

In general, all the licences issued by a country that is a member of ICAO (193 countries) have to comply with ICAO standards. If you got a licence from any of the ICAO member states, this licence is recognized around the globe and you could work with this licence in any country (including the middle-eastern countries) after you do a licence conversion. A licence issued in accordance with EASA standards are highly respectable and appreciated among ICAO member states.

Yes, however every licence issued by an ICAO member state and in accordance with ICAO regulation, is recognized in all ICAO member states!

So, ICAO says the rules, EASA makes the rules and the NAA must ensure that it is carried out??

ICAO has to make sure that the regulations are followed not only saying it! NAA, however, makes its regulations based on ICAO’s SARPS! EASA makes the regulations for EASA’s member states only and has to make sure that these regulations are followed :) But the NAA also has the final decision to follow these regulations that way or slightly change them after informing ICAO and EASA!

Hey man, I have FAA PPL,IR and CPL with 1100 hrs of flight time (TT) GA time tho, what kinda job can I get in dubai? If any😂 How hard would it be to convert to EASA?

Which member state issued your licence? Do you have an FI certificate? With your experience; you can work in DUBAI but the jobs as not as many as in Europe or the US! Converting your licence to EASA is challenging.
