What is the difference between PCO and PCOS?

Hi, thanks for the great video! I have a question and I am really interested in your opinion. My testosterone levels are higher but not out of the normal range, I had a sudden acne burst a year ago, it is better now. My ovaries are policystic. But other than acne here and there, and hair falling out, I do not have any other issues, and my glucose and insulin levels are good. My endo says I have PCO, not PCOS. What is your opinion?

do you regularly ovulate? if not, you might have some fertility troubles, but chinese medicine is great at supporting this. I would advise you start charting your cycles. look up my "BBT charting" video for guidance

That's what I work on with my patients, and it's case by case. In short, yes, but this is something much better answered 1:1 in a clinical setting, and there is not enough space to answer this in detail in a you tube comment. Thank you for asking.

you need to get you doctor to order you the right blood tests to find out exactly what your diagnosis is
