Hi Ms. Carol, thank you so much for your informative videos. I am interested in working in quality improvement, but I am unsure if QI’s have to get mandatory vaccinations before working at a facility. Since QI’s do not work directly with patients, do you know if they still might have to get vaccinated or can you point me the right direction to find out? Thanks again

Thank you for the positive feedback @mindfullivinglessons ❤ Some QI roles in the UK are patient-facing as you may teach staff on wards where patients reside. However other roles are not and link to project work that may be away from clinical areas. The RCN has position statements and guidance for Covid vaccinations in England that you may find helpful, see link: www.rcn.org.uk/Get-Help/RCN-advice/covid-19-and-vaccination I would suggest that if you apply for a QI role you contact the employer occupational health department about where you stand regarding any vaccinations and mandatory requirements they are usually very helpful. I hope that helps in some way.
