@@elle-na Hi! I haven't used it yet since I'm finishing up some other skincare that's about to be empty. But I will soon! I also bought the cream version. I'll update you how it is. I have sensitive, acne prone, oily skin. Supposedly snail mucin is good for my skin type so hopefully it works! What's your skin type?? Oh and I've been using the Rice toner and it's amazing!! Have you tried it? :)

@@trixie_pixie my skin is mostly normal and has a little bit of a combination mixture near my T zone, i always do research on products before i purchase and ive found scary reviews on it like it causing fungal acne and other skin problems, so im really scareddd, keep my updated on how it works and wether ur skin breaks out or not ! & no i haven’t used the rice toner because my skincare routine is really simple it’s js cleanser, moisturiser, and a little retinol eye cream, but my moisturiser is running out and im thinking of the snail essence and all in 1 cream so i wanna learn more about it!

@@elle-na I’ve been using the Cosrx snail mucin for about a year. I used to have oily acne prone skin but now it’s become more dry and the essence makes it feel hydrated and soft. I only tried it because it was really popular and a part of me didn’t want to like it because the snail factor grossed me out but I honestly loved it. Ulta sells it in travel size

unless you are wiping/rinsing the toner off it won’t remove any impurities. but you shouldn’t do that because you’ll just be wasting the product and not getting the full benefits of the ingredients. instead try double cleansing

I think a toner is only for people who already have perfect skin and are working to reduce any sun damage they might have. If toners tighten pores this means the absorption of essences, serums and ampoules is reduced as it adds a barrier similar to moisturising.

Really helpful I literally love I have been searching for a long time for sequence when u wanna add ampoule I think from thinner to thicker consistency But I am using snail mucin essence, so its a bit complicated for me Now I wanna add centella ampoule Don't know how my skin will react But its very sunny and dry temperature I think my skin will be happy with extra add on moisturizer Correct me if this is the wrong sequence to use

And she is right. But toners and ampoules for example really make a difference, toners are usually pretty watery and it's easier to deliver active ingredients through this watery consistency, that's the case with ampoule/serum too but they tend to be even more potent and usually have runny gel consistency. Essences in general serve the purpose of moisturizing your skin

@@mei1568 Different actives are affected differently by their base. Some ingredients penetrate better in a water based product, while others, such as retinoids or coenzyme q10, penetrate better when applied as a cream as they are lipid soluble and the lipids in creams help increase penetration.

There’s some super affordable options. The beauty of joseon ampoules & essmce are very affordable and nice. Also you don’t need a toner and an essence. I usually pick an essence bc i think they have more beneficial ingredients. A good affordable skin care regimen would be the beauty of joseon ginseng essence (I’ve bought this over more expensive favs bc I liked it better), for serum/ampoule, the iunik propolis is great. (Ampoule & serums are the same thing.) It’s like $14-$15 for 50ml of propolis which is good for all skin types and acne prone skin. It’s hydrating but helps with acne. Plus it’s 50ml when most propolis ampoule are 30ml. A few drops every night and it’ll last two months. Beauty of joseon has a propolis ampoule (glow serum), a calming one with cica & a ginseng one. I’ve used and likes the propolis and ginseng. A great inexpensive moisturizer is the cosrx snail mucin cream. So you can literally get away with an essmce, 1-2 serums & a moisturizer for less then $45 for two months. Buy from yesstyle or stylevana bc they always have good deals. Also if you want an active like retinol or an AHA, the ordinary have good ones for around $10-$20. There’s also really good options at target now. I’ve heard excellent things about Naturium tho I haven’t tried it.

Remember if you use cotton pads on toner thinking that the toner will remove remaining leftover impurities is just pure lie. It's either you don't double cleanse of your facewash aren't effective enough to clean your face. While toner prep your skin for your next steps in this case serum, you have a higher chance to increase irritation to that said active serum. This is why some serums might suggest you to use it on dry skin after you cleaned your face

Actually toners is really unnecessary if you want to bring back moisture and all because you will get those moisture from you essence/serum/ampoule. Toner only necessary if you want to use it as an exfoliant. Please don't buy toner because you want to use it to remove the leftovers impurities. This is wasteful of product, always double cleanse your face using micellar water/oil cleanser/makeup balm and follow with face cleanser. If when using toner and you see your makeup in your cotton pad which means your double cleanser is not good enough to remove all the makeup.
