This is my 9th video of yours and I super appreciate your biblical framework that you have niched the enneagram into! I hope you keep going!!

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I will keep going. And, yes, I think the Enneagram fits best into a Biblical worldview. (Yet, I try to discuss it without "preaching" to people. :-)

Awesome to find another person who uses the enneagram through a spiritual lens, which is what it was originally used for I believe? Could you point me towards more videos you’ve made that talk about things more from a spiritual/christian perspective? You have soooo many videos!! Haha which is great

Absolutely love "Understanding the Enneagram". I recommend Personality Types by Don Riso (1987), it's direct, harsh and he does not hold back. He reveals things other authors won't, but you gotta be ready for it. I also recommend tritype.

Melitta 1235 Did you bother to watch the video? He references that book in the video.

I was specifically talking about "Personality Types" from 1987, first edition written by Don Riso ONLY. Not "Personality Types" from 1996, second edition written by Don Riso AND Russ Hudson. I also wasn't referring to any other book written by Don Riso and Russ Hudson together.

Melitta 1235 Oh that's my bad, I was watching this video at like 5am my time. Sorry about that.

I don't know if you have read it already but I HIGHLY recommend also "Personality Types - fully revised and expanded" by Riso & Hudson. It might be my most favorite Enneagram book and it was deeply painful to read for me because I was so deep in the levels when I read it. Generally the Riso&Hudson books are my favorites (Discovering Your Personality Type, Wisdom of the Enneagram, Personality Types, Understanding the Enneagram)

Great book recommendations. Have you read Dr. Joseph Howell's Becoming Conscious: The Enneagram's Forgotten Passageway? Howell is a clinical psychologist who does a great job of using the Enneagram for growth, healing, and transformation from a Christian perspective.
