Am I the only one who's a little worried that something might have detected Teyvat when the False Sky was opened? I know it was only for a few seconds, but that's enough time for someone or something to have felt the presence of an entire world flash on the radar, only to disappear again.

There's a small implication in game (Neuvillette voice line of heavenly principles I think) that celesta or HObor whoever may be dead, and only their influence remains over Teyvat. This influence would of course wane over time as people realise something is off that it's been quiet for so long, but also means powers like the barrier or the nails become weaker over time, leading to the changes they made reverting back to what once was

I think that quest was tied to Qoyllor and Ukuku, the parents of Kuntur. Qoyllor(possibly a Seelie) lived on a dim star that fell to earth and shattered most of her power upon arrival which prevented her from returning to the sky. Long story short, she met Ukuku, started a family and had Kuntur, their son who eventually became a hero of his tribe despite being cursed by Qyollor's father(The sun). That boy down in the hole is most likely a descendant given his caretaker(the lady atop the entrance of the hole that scolded him) mentioned something about his father having some sort of curse/illness as well. The boy gave us a storybook titled "The Tale of Qoyllor and Ukuku" that his father reads to him. If you did the quest and collected the fragments you should check your archives in the book section.

The fake sky and its purpose of protection absolutely parallels with how Decarabian kept the people of Old Mondstadt safe at the cost of limiting their freedom. If the parallels are to go even further, then I can see the Traveler being the one to ultimately replace Phanes in a heartbreaking tragedy (assuming that Paimon might be related to the Primordial One in some way). And funny enough, I always found the Hexenzirkel to be incredibly sus, especially Alice, lol. At least with the Fatui and the Abyss Order, you know their motivations, but the witches? What exactly are they up to, and why aren’t they doing more to either protect the world or hasten its demise? Especially considering how Gold is one of them, lol. Sorry Klee, but your Mom is super sus and I don’t trust her at all. Out of curiosity, have you ever heard of the theory that Teyvat is nestled inside a Black Hole? With the mention of how the Universe is dying, the idea that Teyvat is protected at/near a Black Hole actually makes a lot of sense. Though it depends on the size and mass of the Black Holes, they actually live for an absurdly mind-boggling amount of time, up to trillions upon trillions upon trillions of years, long after the rest of the Universe goes dark as all stars die off. Due to the slow rate they give off Hawking radiation, it’s actually speculated that you can drag on civilization and intelligent life by nestling them near these black holes and using their rotational energy to power their civilizations. It would explain how the Primordial One kept the world of Teyvat alive for so long while the universe dies outside of it due to how long Black Holes can live, as well as the time dilation phenomenon when near Black Holes. There are some great videos on KZbin showing off how the time dilation works when you approach a Black Hole, it’s super interesting. It can also tie in with how the Abyss looks starry, or how the Abyss warriors like the one inside the Narwhal have a mini black hole in their chest. If the theory that Teyvat is in a black hole is true, then first of all what the fuck are the Fatui and Abyss Order thinking when they try to usurp the Primordial One? Lol they’re the only reason life can exist on Teyvat, and now they want to kill them? And second of all, if Traveler is the one to ultimately replace them, how will they keep Teyvat safe? Even Black Holes eventually die, and like with HI3, the end of civilization and life is pretty much guaranteed. It’d be a long, long grind towards the end, but it will happen.

It seems like Heavenly Principles may have been the 2nd descender and currently is ruling (very poorly since the planet is dying). So they might be trying to overthrow HP and set someone else up to rule. Phanes or the Primordial one is currently split into shades which so far we’ve only “met” two but they seem pretty chill with humans so I’m not getting that PO is a bad dude. this seems pretty likely as we've seen quite a few harbringers so far and the only ones who we have actually interacted with who are just inherently dicks, are Signora, and dottore. Childe, respects us as a fighter, and has a strong bond with his family. but he's put his life on the line to battle the abyss in fontaine. maybe not to SAVE fontaine, but it was a fight he took nonetheless. Scaramouche, wanderer, Balladeer, etc etc...is an interesting case because they were just a puppet. but after all our interactions with them, a lot of their actions are becoming more and more....noble. im sure when we go to dragonspine again we'll see him and mini durin along with albedo and susbedo. Father, Arlecchino, IS a ruthless killer. damn near just killed furina for shits n giggles. but they have a strong sense of family bonds and their actions in fontaine really kept everything from going completely to shit. probably the 2nd most likeable fatui to date, and really the one who proved that the fatui arent inherently the "bad guys" Signora, is...well...she's a cunt. and she died. or presumably died. we'll see if she really dead in shezhnaya. Dottore is...again...a dick. probably the most "evil" harbringer we've interacted with to date. and definitely someone who could betray the fatui to accomplish his own grand ambitions. really curious why he's following the tsaritsa. i dont want a redemption for him, i want him to be evil. and then, there's Capitano. the Captain. easily, the BEST fatui to date. he's noble, he's got a strong sense of justice, and his efforts to save humanity from the abyss is...admirable. i'd say he's probably the most likely of the fatui to have the next death flag though. after his interactions in 5.1 i feel he's going to join us in the final battle with the night kingdom. his personal goal seems to align with preventing another disaster like khan'reiah so i could very well see him sacrificing himself or making a deal with ronova to exchange his life for mavuika's (or even ours, considering how much respect he still has for the abyssal twin as the prince/princess of khan'reiah.) provided he doesnt die in the final battle with the abyss in the night kingdom, i see him playing a pretty big role going forward, and being another harbringer who brings our traveler to changing their perspective about the fatui as a whole. i now understand why he's always been said to be the one harbringer that the lower rank and file in the fatui both love, respect, and admire.

So, here is my Long-ish Theory Short, the “False Sky” is actually something called the “Protective Canopy”. You remember the Light Element? The most common theory was that this Element is where the other 7 Elements originate from (or, something like that?) I however, always believed that the Light Element is actually an Elemental Reaction between all 7 Elements. There is a gameplay mechanic that we are all familiar with, Elemental Resonance in the Team. The most unique Resonance is when you have 4 unique elements in the team, it does not matter which elements specifically, since the Team can only consist of 4 characters, and not 7 (5 in special circumstances concerning Trial Characters) This unique Resonance, is called the Protective Canopy.

With way too little information about this brand new topic, I can’t even begin to imagine what they did to strip the Pyro Energy from its own Element, only to then place 7 Elements back into this Energy System, including Pyro. If this theory of mine is true, then Elemental Reactions occur due to the mixture of Elemental Energy, so my Light Reaction would still work. … and I wonder if the Light Reaction was one of the main reasons why the Elemental Energy was made in the first place? There is no building block of Light, so the only alternative was to create the reaction of Light, and to do that, the Elements need to be converted into a form of Energy.

Then using Vera’s Melencholy and combining it with Honkai lore it became apparent to me that outside the dome would be a nearly dead universe circling a dead sun. I said the cause was a multiversal war that’s spanned just under 50,000 years. But know I know that’s not correct. The dead universe happened because the Sky People are running from the Will of the Honkai. As they try to avoid that fight they move from world to world and bleed it dry. That’s who is in Celestia. Well it’s a mix of them and a handful of record keepers. Those faceless weirdos….

Since 1.1 and the mention of the 'Fake Sky' from Scaramouche, I always thought of a similar concept in a game that most know by fame but I suspect few have actually played: Drakengard (yes, the granddaddy of the whole DrakenNier cosmology by Yoko Taro) In that game, the 'sky' was actually a barrier against the eldritch horrors that loomed beyond the world - the Watchers. And when the sky cracked making those abomination seep through, hell broke loose on Earth.

It makes sense, BUT we know that in Teyvat the time does not flow in a normal way, we know that there are some "inconsistencies" and Mavuika herself tells us that the past, present and future all happens at the same time in the second act of Natlan Archon quest. I don't know if you are aware of the "black hole theory", but I feel that letting you know about it might change even slightly your views about some things. I have a theory, what if ZhongLi was actually the one who knows stuff like this. you see, zhongli always dodges questions and never give a direct answers, and if you also think about it, when we arrived at liyue what if the one who died during the ceremony was not zhongli but it actually Liyue's sovereign dragon dies when we arrived. zhongli might be the actual archon name and the sovereign dragon of liyue was named Morax. sounds silly i know, but he's the longest living archon, no? 5 or 6000 years of living, there are just no shot he didn't know anything. he gotta have to know stuff.

the markings on those rock fragments remind me of the markings of the planet we see in honkai's star rail's login screen. i think i've seen a theory before where that same planet is said to be teyvat's due to the markings on it matching the seven nations. perhaps the rock fragments we see is the broken 'shell' caused by mavuika.

The Abyss probably the dark matter that surround the space of Teyvat as you see there are no stars but a shattered moon and a somewhat red spacedust. Most likely the Abyss also known as the Void was trying to penetrate the unseen barriers in the firmament but cannot? IDK. Void is now using small dimensional rifts in Teyvat. The Golden wolf lord, Rift hound and The all devouring Narwhal is some of the beings that can go through Teyvat using this said rifts.

hsr Night of Universal Hallucinations So what if the beast that swallowed the train and Argenti's ship is the same beast that swallowed Teyvat and other planets, hence why Teyvat would have borders. Also while playing through that quest there's similar 'moon like' fragments floating throughout the quest. While looking out of the windows they're very visible. By the time the Express gets ejected from the beasts stomach you can see the front view of it, which is ridiculously huge, huge enough to swallow planets and those alike. This is a bit thrown out there but when I saw the red sky it reminded me of that specific quest.
