If in the Holy Spirit you can not discern the Truth in the first two verses of the Bible then how can you expect to understand any word there after? I plead to you with all the Love and Sorrow which the Almighty has put with in me, weaken the flesh so that the Holy Spirit can show you Truth. Submit thyself to what weakens the flesh, such as fasting of All that pleases the flesh. By God's grace the Lord has opened up a Biblical calendar of history that lays out key dates which has allowed us to pinpoint certain periods in God's program of times and seasons. We have learned, for example, that the Church Age began on the day of Pentecost in 33 AD. And each year thereafter, over the course of the Church Age God renewed their commission on Pentecost. But after 1955 years, in the year 1988 (which was the 13,000 year of earth's existence) on May 21, 1988 (the day before Pentecost that year) the Church Age received no renewal of their commission thereby ending the task of evangelizing the earth and bringing forth the firstfruits unto God. Also, on that date of May 21, 1988 the great tribulation began. The great tribulation was a time of the loosing of Satan and also the loosening of the Holy Spirit's restraint upon the sinful hearts of mankind resulting in an enormous increase in iniquity worldwide. In addition, upon Satan's loosing he entered into the churches and congregations of the world and was used by God as a destroying weapon in order that God carry out His judgment upon the unfaithful corporate church (1 Peter 4:17). During this time the Holy Spirit of God departed from the churches and as a result salvation was no longer possible within any church. The judgment on the world's churches was simultaneous with the great tribulation and was carried out over an exact 23 years until May 21, 2011. On that date the judgment (tribulation) of God transitioned from being solely upon the apostate corporate church, to now expanding to include the whole world. According to much Biblical evidence this judgment on the world is also a prolonged period of time and will go until the year 2033 (23 inclusive years from 2011). And in a similar way the Spirit of Christ has departed from the world insofar as His word of salvation is concerned. Christ made reference to this happening in the gospel of John: John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. When we search the Bible we find that the "work" Jesus is referring to is the work He performs in salvation. See: John 6:28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. Again, in John 9:4 Jesus said He must work the works (giving the gift of belief/faith to His elect) while it is day. An obvious reference to the "day of salvation" which was a prolonged time that lasted for thousands of years. But, He warned, "the night cometh, when no man can work". No man (meaning Himself) will be able to perform the work of salvation any longer. On May 21, 2011 Judgment Day began and this period of spiritual night came to the world. So, as with the judgment that first began on the corporate church, Christ is no longer saving souls. Instead God is carrying out His judgment program for this world. The constant division, chaos, and strange madness going from nation to nation around the world at this time is an indicator that the Lord is troubling the inhabitants of the world with a spiritual judgment.

Didn't bother to listen ...I know Ebible does not believe in a place called "hell" ...or at least that what was they taught last i heard .. I was just looking for a place to chime in with my own understanding that everywhere I see the term "gnashing of teeth" it does not pertain to one's discomfort but rather to rage .....like a vicious dog or wolf with teeth bared gnashing them threateningly at the perceived enemy ...The only place I can see where a person gets the idea it has to do with suffering the pain of torture? Is via the imagination of people ...it sounds plausible but IF one takes the time and searches the Bible where the same words are used? The agony/pain idea is not supported ...just saying..

However having SOME things right certainly does NOT make a man or a ministry trustworthy ...the most foolish a person could do (if you ask me) is to TRUST anyone's discernment AS right ...AS infallible...IF that strikes you unfairly as anti Chris McCann or anti any particular person of sect? Scripture interprets scripture so here is a best understanding of "gnashing the teeth" "Acts 7:54 When the members of the Sanhedrin heard this, they were furious and gnashed their teeth at him."

That certainly was the judgment of the churches. But what of the churches themselves? Are they qualified to make a right judgment regarding whether or not someone is a heretic? Let's consider exactly who is among these churches who make such a charge. Among those who join hands together and condemn a good and faithful man like Mr. Camping we find: -Churches who hold to tongues and visions and dreams in direct violation of Revelation 22:18. Revelation 22:18 pronounces a condemnation on all that would dare add to the Word of God as these churches do. In the corporate church today the charismatic leaning population numbers around 500 million. This is about 25% of the overall corporate church. -The Catholic church which has also added to the words and taken away from the words of the Bible (Rev. 22:17,18) and as a result is subject to plagues written in the Bible. Not sure of the exact numbers, but again hundreds of millions of "Christians". -Free will gospel churches. These churches have developed another gospel than the true gospel of the Bible. Their gospel emphasizes doing the work of believing and accepting Christ which turns the grace of God into a gospel of works. Again, scores and scores of millions of people in evangelical churches hold to this erroneous doctrine and gospel. -7th day Adventists. Believe their founder saw a vision of a halo over the 4th commandment. Therefore, they too have added to the Word of God and are in violation of Rev. 22:18. -Various liberal and apostate churches (Lutheran, Episcopalian, Methodist, etc, etc) who have watered down Bible versions, watered down music which basically has allowed the world's music to supplant the music of the kingdom of God. They also allow for women teachers and preachers (contrary to the Bible's specific command) and are even allowing for homosexual ministers as well as gay marriage between congregants, etc, etc, etc. Numbers in the scores of millions. -Finally, all we have left is the small reformed community of churches. These churches would recognize, to some degree, the apostasy of all the others mentioned above. These are the ones, especially, who have labeled Mr. Camping a heretic for his "date setting". But what of them? These churches like to think of themselves as the guardians of the faith. The last hold outs of the truths handed down to them by the reformers. Which is precisely why they despise Mr. Camping so much. For years Mr. Camping spoke of the growing church apostasy, but these few 'reformed' churches always felt they were above it. The apostasy was "them" over there. Not us. But once Mr. Camping released his book, "The End of the Church Age...and After" it included language indicating that all churches without exception were presently being judged by God. God was displeased with all of them across the board, no exceptions. The book pointed out the corporate churches tendency towards making idols and setting them up in the high places of their confessions and creeds and then worshiping them above the Word of God the Bible. The Reformed churches, even as they liked to point their bony little finger at other churches and congregations, were especially guilty of this idol making in the documents of the reformers. You see, when evaluating the churches charge of heresy against Mr. Camping we have to realize that the Bible teaches that the Church Age is finished: 1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And that all the world's churches are apostate and spiritually corrupt. And Mr. Camping taught this very thing day after day, year after year, for several years. This is why the churches despise him and speak evilly of him. But, keep in mind what the testimony of the Bible is regarding true men of God. Will they be loved by the masses? Not hardly: Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. 23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets. In fact, the charge made by apostate church after apostate church, none of which can even begin to stumble upon the truths of the Scripture, as they themselves make their accusations while residing in intense spiritual darkness, is nothing but a glorious testimony that Mr. Camping followed in the steps of the faithful people of God who came before him as he spoke the truth about the apostasy and desolation of the churches as God handed them over to Satan for their destruction.

@@Ebiblefellowship I understand that and only God can judge. I am not condemning for I am no one to condemn. My question would be what would Mr. Camping be then considered? I'm merely asking because of his actions before his passing. He kept trying to predict the Lord's return when scripture clearly advises against such practices and he deceived many people. Deceived them by convincing many to donate life savings to him and his church. People who followed a man instead of following the word and lost everything. I'm keeping an open mind and I am wise enough to know that I don't know Mr. Camping's fate. Only God does. So what should such a man be called if heretic or false prophet/teacher isn't the proper nomenclature? Now, I am not being sarcastic. I am genuinely merely seeking truthful answers according to scripture.

We must allow the Bible to define its own words. And the Bible tells us a Jew (and therefore an Israelite) is not who you would expect it to be: Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. First, God tells us who is NOT a Jew. A Jew, in God's sight, is not someone who is a Jew based on circumcision or by being a physical descendant of Abraham. This is an amazing statement, but there it is right before our eyes found in the Word of God. Second, a true Jew is one INWARDLY, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit. This is an obvious reference to being born again. Which means if one is born again, he or she, Jew or Gentile, becomes a true Jew in God's sight. Which is why the promise to Abraham and his seed applies to those I just mentioned: Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. And, Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. We, the elect children of God, or those who are truly saved, are the heirs of the promises given to Abraham and his seed. We are counted for his seed in Christ. All who are saved become apart of spiritual Israel, the Israel of God: Galatians 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. 16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. Through salvation God performs, as it were, the rite of spiritual circumcision on the heart, and once so circumcised the Gentile sinner becomes a spiritual Jew. Once all to be saved have been saved-all then would have experienced spiritual circumcision of the heart and in that way ALL ISRAEL HAS BECOME SAVED. Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: You see, once the fullness of the Gentiles come in, then all Israel will have become saved. This is so because the Gentiles who become saved will have experienced spiritual circumcision and have been made a Jew inwardly, in the heart, in the spirit. Now the Bible has perfect harmony with all the Scriptures. And once harmony is found, we can be certain that truth has been discovered.
