What a fascinating discussion! Dr. Wise is clearly a passionate educator. It's great to learn uncensored science not skewed by the mandated evolutionary worldview.

Too bad Dr. Wise didn't have time to address everything he planned to in his talk. Perhaps you could consider having him do "History of the Earth part 2" if you guys decide to have these conferences again.

Can anyone comment on when people arrived in North America. I am interested in knowing this from a Creationist.

I think Dr. Wise should look into the theories of Andy Hall of the Electric Universe. I don't agree with all that comes out of the Electric Universe, but Andy Hall seems to be on a unique track concerning geological formations.

I like to hear his faith in God our Father and Lord Jesus! Glorify God with all your might and mains! As a theoretical scientist, all can be easily viewed and understood vey well only through the words of God which is the Bible. However I can NOT make others understand it in layman terms, this is regarded as a gift limited to only few.

I'm 10 minutes into this video and I very much appreciate the enthusiasm of Dr. Kurt Wise. I am disappointed that the introduction did the history of the Earth is focused on a narrow eschatology, an obtuse reference to physics and a completely false representation of the fourth dimension, which is Time. Dr. Wise cannot be unaware that a three-dimensional object (volume) which has zero duration in time never truly exists at all, except as an abstract mathematical concept! Not unlike the two dimensional concepts (surface/area); one-dimensional concepts (line/length) and the zero-dimensional concept of a point (singularity) which may only be viewed or imagined or considered to exist through some duration of time. With the utmost respect for Doctor Wise I will watch the rest of the video with high hopes that he will talk about the history (His story) of the Earth. I expect frequent biblical quotes and references punctuated with as many scientific references to secular history as we can find that are compatible with the Bible.

The Bible says on the 1st day God said and it was so on for the next 2nd to the 6th day and Go;d rested on the 7th day, hallowed it and named it the Sabbath Day [Saturday] so the 7th day Sabbath was from the beginning

Sunday is the first day in both cases in the Beginning God started Creation on a sunday and Jesus started his creation on a sunday. Christians are not under the Old covenant of Moses but we are under the Covenant of Jesus. You could see the shroud of Turin which shows the Resurrection was a blast of immense light comparable to a nuclear bomb. so both beginnings began in Light.

Wrong, the Bible states the continent divided sometime after the flood, even after Babylon, Gen 10:25, nor does this sun go on forever, Rev.22:5. Not my words but Gods word.

I really loved this (but I might add, in the context that the earth was created in the beginning, and not on the first day also with the consideration of the pre-adamic flood)

are you afraid of losing tenure or grants if you say there is an unaccounted for amount of time between verse 1 & 2 of Genesis? not chapters - verses. We see the war in heaven in that amount of time - but we arent told of it until Revelation. The earth became void and without form - arent those the characteristics of Satan? Have you studied the colors yet? I ask because it doesnt sound like it.

when he says God is still resting in the sabbath.. he is wrong to say that.. John 5.17 Jesus said to them, "My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working."

1.What is a day of creation? 24 hours? Genesis 1:5 ‭And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. God called the light DAY. So How long does a week last? 2. God created everything through/by His Word. That is the 'Plan' of Gods creation. The Word of God drives the whole of creation, all physical and cosmic powers, towards the creation of man as the image of God, everything moves towards Him. Man, and Christ Jesus in the perfect sense, is the expression of Gods Word, and therefore His image and likeness. 3. You can only speak about the invisible, c.q. God and His Kingdom, through the use of 'image and likeness '. The litteral reading of the Scriptures is denying this, and leads to absurdities ('the snake in paradise spoke litterally', for example).

That's a little bit of an oxymoron (how could He create the earth on the 3rd day if it already existed in the beginning)
@swtor20
@swtor20 4 жыл бұрын
He didn't. Genesis 1:1-2 The earth was created. (Mostly water as we read "darkness was upon the face of the *deep*) Most take this as it was a ball of water. Genesis 1:9-13 (Day 3) - Is when he fashions the earth and makes it so land is visible and able to have creatures on it. There's no creation of a planet called earth on day 3 so to speak, but a "fashioning" of the already existing earth so that it can have life forms in the way the Lord wants.
