John chapter 8 incorporates the story of the woman caught in adultery - the passage now known as the Pericope Adulterae - for which scholars have good evidence that this was added to John’s Gospel centuries after the Gospel was first written. By agreement among all parties, we could remove this from the Bible on the grounds that it we should only retain material likely to have been original to the gospels. Unfortunately, there are many other passages for which we have good evidence they were not originally part of the gospels, and even more passages for which we have probable evidence they were not originally part of the gospels - so where do we stop.? We could end up with one very slim Bible book which look like the Jefferson Bible.!! 😜😜😜

I just read the Game of Thrones books, and it had many mistakes. I loved the TV series, and since I heard such high praises of the books, I thought I'd take a look at the books. Some of the story was accurate, but overall, it was inaccurate. The author, George RR Martin, definitely had an agenda and changed the written story to make it his own, But in truth, it was obviously nonsensical because some things didnt even need to be added. There were even parts of the story where he added a ressurection of Catelyn Stark. One of the problems Islam has to deal with is this. If the Word of God is true and intact at the time of Muhammad there was NO NEED for Islam. On the other hand if it wasn't then, he didn't have any evidence of prophet good. Either way, Muhammadans have a wonderful opportunity to embrace the Truth which was available to the people including Muhammad.
