Parental alienation against me, a father that did everything he could to try and be in his daughters life. Active, supporting, went to court to try and prove but the courts, GAL, and especially the childs court appointed therapist all sided against me, refused to hear the evidence, which was completely undeniable if you listened to it. At first, she wanted to come live with me. But over the course of years, with the court being drug out, the mother kept asking for extensions, and the courts just kept approving it despite my objections and begging them to listen to the proof. I cant prove the next part, but my daughter changed after she started seeing the therapist. I knew what was going on when she accused me of scaring my daughter by trying to be in her life. Going to my less elaborate home was apparently scary since i didnt have as much money and couldnt afford a 500k (guessing) home like they had.. my house, at the time worth about 90k. And yes, they used the words less elaborate. In the end, i lost, and my daughter now hates me. One example is I wanted to give her pepper spray when she started driving. I was told how horrible of a person i was for wanting to give her something so dangerous that she could hurt herself with. And she would never need it anyway. I had proof that at 12 years old she still slept in the bed with them and when she did go to stay at a frieends house, it had to be a parent thay they were friends with and the grandmother would stay over with her so she didnt get scared. Her best friend was picked for her, a girl she didnt like, who would break her stuff, because the parents were best friends. Not to mention evidence of physical abuse. I had a recording of her telling me that she would get spankings for not getting A's in school. An A-, spanking. But apparently spankings, regardless of the reason isnt abuse. Also apparently shes just a kid and I shouldnt beleive her... unless it was something against me. I disagree but im the father so I am wrong. After it was over i got screwed on visitation as well and in the document i had to be accomadating if they had plans that interfere with my visitation. You can guess what happened. Eventually I just gave up. Being a father, middle class, nearly became homeless during this, there was and still is nothjng I can do right. Everything I do is twisted in a way that makes me the bad guy. Shes an adult now but still will not talk to me.

Are there any family members that can fill her in on the stuff she doesn't remember? Or just tell her that u love her and would love to start over? Something like that? That's a damn shame either way.

@dariusreedo I've become a mentor of several teenaged boys over the last few years. I always at some point talk about how love for someone isn't enough for a relationship. Or at least what you may think love is. For me, it wasn't love, but I was too stupid to know the difference. I chose to love her mom when I should have chosen to leave her mom.
