Mustafa was one of those characters who I felt had potential to be a secret recruitable character. Have certain enemies flagged as not wanting to fight, spare all of them. Explains that he won't join you now due to Gangrel's hold on the country being to much of a problem for him. But have him show up in the valm arc while talking with Validar, offering his assistance since Chrom spared those not willing to fight. Or something along those lines, a character that well written is someone I just did not want to kill. Sort of an FE3 Sheena recruit, where sparing all her soldiers gets her to join.

I thought for sure Gheb would have been the Sacred Stones pick. Orson's more memorable, sure, but he _is_ a major boss, being included as one of the Creature Campaign characters, alongside technically being a playable character. Gheb has the SIgune situation, but better since he actually does more in his own chapter, and is a significantly more dangerous boss

There's so many great minor bosses in sacred stones Gheb is absolutely brutal with the insinuation he brings. Carlyle a man that betrayed his queen for a chance at love that won't be requited. Morva: the lord of dragons and myrhh's caretaker, zombified. Orson too ofc

I would even add a couple more to that list. Pablo is one of three characters to be fought on multiple maps (and the other two are major). Tirado is the man who kept Ephraim pretty much locked down but couldn't beat him, and is the boss of a key chapter. Breguet is a name I'll always remember because early boss who is funny to laugh at in randomizers. More of a meme on the last one, but I think all three are memorable.

Shout out to Aias too, he's Caellach's comrade who fought Erika in chapter 13 Erika's route. The plus points are when he respected the player's skills when defeated and after you survived to the turn limit when he felt he got betrayed when Caellach let loose the Rausten Knights supposed to be stalled and shown being killed by his trusted companion's blade in the end. Extra points in Carlyle too, he was Joshua's teacher.

Orson may have few lines, but by magnitude I don't think he follows the spirit of this video, he betrays the Renais, the twins, and marks the game's shift into the endgame, little too major for the taste. My pick for Sacred Stones would be Aias, all-around a decent mercenary you face, that leans into the fourth wall to comend you, the player, as Renais tactician, should you best his formation. It also becomes his best death, for Caelach callously murders him if he survives the chapter, showing how far he is willing to go for his ambition of becoming king.

amazing video. 1000000% agreed on Mustafa for Awakening, that chapter hit so hard he's definitely one of my favorite bosses in Fire Emblem. would've been insanely cool for him to come back later in the game and join the shepherds, considering he'd probably fit right in and even has connections to a unit or two in your army. plus his design slaps.

I'd say someone that could be thought about and probably should be for FE6 is Erik, one of the few characters in FE to be fought in multiple games. He is undeniably minor, but it's incredible that he's fought by both Roy and his father in similar situations. And to bring up FE7, if Denning/Glass didn't get absolute meme value, I wonder who would be next on the chopping block. Teodor has been mentioned as the most unique Druid color scheme we've seen and one of the few to transcend just having a normal color scheme, but we also have Eubans, a man who had the guts to invade Ostia but also a boss that shares a sprite with a Lyn mode gaiden chapter boss. Also he's a boss who actually moves, making him quite spooky.

Septimus is my choice for Radiant Dawn too. He’s just too funny. “To safety! I must escape to Mugill. The beasts… The beasts wish to… CONSUME ME!” I’d like to also point out Damian from Blazing Blade. The fact that he shows up on an otherwise innocent side quest chapter as an ambush spawn and just starts dropping the hardest boss quotes makes him completely unforgettable for anyone who (wisely) played that side quest. “Lord Eliwood of Pherae… you do not yet know to fear the Black Fang. I will teach you that fear.” Last point, I swear. PoR has possibly the most memorable unnamed NPC in the whole franchise. (Well, besides gatekeeper) “Now we’ve got you! Eat rock!!! Heh… eat rock… I’m pretty clever.”

I would say for fe9 the honour goes to Gromell.. for being one of the only bosses that can be killed by his allies. He even was the first minor boss to receive a cipher because of it. And has been in 4 FEHchoose your legends route.. placing pretty high, especially for a one shot character.

Tbh I would say the most memorable minor boss in Engage is Mitan from the Anna paralogue, on account of not only being a pretty funny character from a comedic perspective and having a completely unique design with that slightly off-center bandana, but also for being the first ever female Barbarian in the entire franchise.

Yes! Minor antagonists are the best. I always thought that, since they were going all out in the war in Fates, Kumagera was Rinkah's dad, but it turned out to be just a general lol The most memorable for me in the entire series have to be Mustafa and Cervantes. Both had the potential to be recruitable characters. Not to mention both are extremely hot ^^

Ishtore from Genealogy gen 2 stuck with me. A high ranking noble who opposed the child hunts and had a happy marriage with Liza. His character has so much potential as the brother of the Emperor's fiance and works really well being the first good man Seliph fights.

Id say ny choice for Engage gies for Chaoter 3's boss Abyke even though shes alsp in another chapter because even though we beat her in Elyos she somehoe managed to escape to become the boss of chaoter 18, the boat map But nsot people wont even notice its the same character because, not only she has a completely different class line, going from axe armor to Berserker she also has a bit of a distinct honor. Baring the next few fjghts with the hounds Abyme is the last human you fight in Engage. Everything else from then on is corrupted

Chapter 9 of Shadow Dragon has always sat badly with me. Degenerating tyrant ot not, Marth's army intrudes on his kingdom and even by necessity it's an intrusion on his sovereignty. Plus the chapter is completely irrelevant to the overall story. It's as filler as non-Gaiden Fire Emblem has ever been, and we really didn't need to kill him from a story perspective. It would have been better if Dohlr or something was pursuing you and it turned into a three-way battle.
