I am from Nepal and I have completed my MBBS in the year 2018 along with 1 year internship here. I was working as a medical officer for nearly 18 months then I left my job 5 months back to prepare for PG here. But now I want to do PLAB. I heard we should not leave job while doing preparation for PLAB which can bring some consequences for job placement in UK, now I want to know should I be preparing for PLAB or not? Will they accept me for not working for 5-6 months here? Or Do I still have some hope? Please kindly give me some advice. Thank you!

For international medical graduates there is no prerequisite for taking SCE. If I were to take an SCE in Endocrinology and Diabetes and clear the exam,will I be permitted to join a training post in endo-diabetes? Will I get GMC registration? I am an MBBS from India.

Hello doc...your videos are amazing and are inspiring as well for someone who is looking forward to pursue their further practice in UK..I am an medical grad from Ukraine and registered doc from india,now planning to do my plab...but the prob here is it's been a long time that I haven't been in touch with my books..I have been working as jr resident in hosp and just earning..I find it very depressing to start studying now and even having doubts whether I cn do this or even is it appropriate to start doing it now at this point of age..I just feel like I have started to take this road too late and it's waste of time...what do you suggest?? please do you even think that this is not what I should be doing now?? looking forward for your reply... actually an inspiring reply maybe..

Go for it! The only thing stopping you is yourself, and there is no reason you can't succeed. So take PLAB!

Salam I have question I found an organization who wants medical students who want to voluntarily teach 1st yr subjects(anat,physio,biochem) it's a 2month project n will receive certificate is it valuable and recognized for the job portfolio under teaching experience or it is advisable to get teaching experience in UK in the concern hospital...I'm still a 4th yr medical student from India i intend to do A&E in uk after completing my mbbs in India..ur advise will be of grt value
