Short answer: Creation! The problem of rationally trying to answer the question: "What is the point of life?" Leo starts out by denying an objection that people from the materialist paradigm might come up with: "Reality is just arbitrary." It is just this physical, rigid system. Life is not dumb, it is not accidental, it is not coincidental, it is not arbitrary. Life is intelligent and designed. You need to step out of your ego mind and rational mind to appreciate the brilliance of reality and the design behind it. What is the point of the Universe? (macro-level) The Universe is an infinite singularity: An infinite amount of dimensions, an infinite field of consciousness. It is completely self-aware and alive. It is all-loving and creative. It is God. The Universe subdivided itself into an infinite number of parts because there is ultimately no distinction between a division and a unity, it is all one. All possible subdivisions are already contained within the Universe and always have been. There is only one ultimate Reality, containing within it an infinite amount of sub-realities. It is radically all-encompassing, if you will. The only one thing the Universe can do, for all of eternity, is explore itself. Remember that the Universe is not dumb, it is vibrantly alive! It can desire! It desires constantly to know itself. It does this through your human life and an infinite number of other experiences. The only way in which the Universe can know or be itself, which are ultimately the same, is by living through every single infinite amount of possibilities. All there are within the Universe is an infinite number of perspectives. The point of the universe is to live through every single one of them in order to know and to be itself. - The point of the Universe is itself. - The point of the Universe is for God to simply be Itself. - The point of the Universe is to experience all the parts and teh whole of Itself. - The point of the Universe is for God to experience itself being a creator. - The point of the Universe is God realization. For God to awaken to Itself. - The point of the Universe is for God to create Itself and to love Itself. - The point of the Universe is unity through division. What is the point of your human life? (micro-level) - The point of your human life is to realize that you are God. - The point of your human life is to realize that you created all of this, but that you forgot. - The point of your human life is to realize your own magnitude. - The point of your human life is to Love yourself. - The point of your human life is to become God-like. - The point of your human life is to be a consciouss creator. - The point of your human life is to conquer fear through unconditional Love. - The point of your human life is to embody Love and Goodness. - The point of your human life is to inspire others through your example. - The point of your human life is to experience the duality. - The point of your human life is to experience every moment fully. - The point of your human life is to help others to awaken. - The point of your human life is to evolve your consciousness. - The point of your human life is to align your will with the will of God. - The point of your human life is to create the most beautiful creation possible. - The point of your human life is to choose and define who you want to be. "Consciousness has devided itself and it seeks to reunify with itself. This cycle goes on forever. You have an infinite number of lives, and you cannot die." […] "You have nothing to lose in this process. There is no possibility of failure." OBJECTIONS: "Life is meaningless!" Life is meaningless, but that is not to be confused with nihilism, depression, lack of inspiration and motivation, negativity… Being is prior to meaning and it is much more profound. The point of anything is itself. Human life has a deliberate design. It's part of a greater whole of which you might say it does have a function, a meaning. "I thought that nothing mattered?" Nothing matters, yet God must still be God. It must still experience itself. That is what it means for God to be God. Ultimately, Creation does not matter. That's why God creates. It creates for the joy and delight of Creation. "Isn't this religious dogma?" No. Verify the Truth for yourself. "How could you possibly know all this?" Through mystical experiences, contemplation, deep study and research of spiritual scriptures and books. Through intuition and direct consciousness of God. All the answers about life you come up with are ultimately your own imagination. But everything within Creation is imagination! "What if you're deluded?" What is the alternative…? Any alternative you give is also just a point of seeing the world. So do the spiritual practices and see for yourself if you are God. "isn't this contradictory to life-purpose?" No. Life-purpose is a practical human realization about what you are passionate about as an indivdual. "Can I fail at life?" No. Death is an illusion. You are immortal. All roads ultimately lead to Nirvana. Don't rush to enlightenment for the sole purpose of trying to avoid failure. As explained earlier: there is no failing this game. "I just want to escape this life and suffering. Why don't I just kill myself?" If you do, you'll escape to Nirvana. Eventually, however, you'll want to polarize yourself again and reincarnate. Where you are right now is the perfect place where you need to be. When you die, you will be here. "Isn't this an ego driven explanation of the point of life? No. It's an explanation of the design or architecture of life. "Doesn't enlightenment mean there is nothing to do? You make it seem as though there is stuff to do." If you want, you can do nothing. Enlightenment doesn't say anything about what you should or should not do in your life. It is simply the realization that you are ther Creator. Then, you can choose what you can create. There are no "Should's" within the Universe unless you create them yourself! "This explanation of the point of life isn't in line with what I heard or believe." Spirituality is a broad concept and certain people will use certain words to explain certain things. It is a complex phenomenon. "Isn't reality perfect? So then why does it need improvement?" This is a simplistic notion of non-duality. From the absolute perspective, this is true, yet practically you can consciously choose to improve your creations.!

This is the first time I've come across Leo's channel and this is already my favorite video. This explanation is SOOOOOO rockin'. The universe will persist because it has not yet completed its task. It has not completed its task because its curiosity about itself has not been fully satisfied. It hasn't yet begun to explore ALL of the infinity of perspectives. It's just like playing a video game. Once you've beaten the game, completed all the side quests, found all the easter eggs, etc...once you've explored every possible area there is to explore and even gone back a couple of times just in case you feel you may have missed something---once you feel you have truly conquered the game and know it like the back of your hand, only then do you move on to another game. The universe hasn't done that yet. Since the universe is infinite, it will persist because it will always continue to explore the infinity of perspectives. It will always continue looking for something it feels it may have missed about itself. It could quite possibly be taking on a quest that can never be truly completed---which gives everything that lives within it literally all the time in the world. His ultimate conclusion of us as one of many probes in the universe from God's perspective seems a bit lackluster and disappointing, at least to me as I've no desire to be subjugated to any being in any capacity. But, one can hardly deny the facts of life.

Long time, around 10 years, I was looking at the ocean, I was looking how one wave colapses into itself and again and again, in that moment it came that understanting that is not explain with words: I saw with my own eyes and understand that God make creation only to experiment itself. Like the waves colapses into itself over and over again, like for the pure joy to do so...With time I forgot what I saw and mind dissconected me for what I knew it was there...And now, I just knock a little bit the door and I found Leo saying all of this...I can barely express my self now. I am not even a native english speaker. I hope my experience is some way help you all. Thank you Leo but not like a normal thank you you know what I mean.

45 years ago (after three days without much sleep, due to a long trip) and falling asleep in bed, I found myself in what I thought must have been nirvana, I couldn't see anything, it seemed empty but yet full of energy, I was filled with awe and peace to where I was overflowing with it. I knew I had finally come home and wanted to stay there no matter what, I knew I wasn't supposed to do so, so held on with all of my might knowing I had to die to do so, then shortly after deciding that, I found myself waking up in my room being zapped on top of the head with what felt like a lightning bolt, feeling zapped (shocked by electricity all of the way to my toes) I opened my eyes screaming from being electrified to see my room lit up with white light, throwing myself out of bed in an attempt o get away from being zapped. Then the room went dark, I had tears, crying for being kicked out of heaven and somewhat miffed over being kicked out for several years. After that I looked to see if there was any way an electrical wire had somehow touched the top of my head, then looked out the window for storm clouds to see if lightning might have hit, nope, nothing. Two decades later, I had another dream where I woke up to find myself in the center of an empty space or void with a sun in the middle of it, that sun had no face, yet I perceived a face smiling at me as I felt it peering deeply into me to the point I felt completely naked. I was then aware of what that sun was, it was God as a collective of all beings. Seeing that, I saw we were really all one with that sun-intelligence-god, and in that place, could experience anything any one of us might have experienced in our individual lives. Once I understood we are really one, then I couldn't understand individuality, I could understand oneness, but not being separate. It took me years to where I could stop seeing others as extensions of one another, I mean to the point I had a hard time referring to others as being another person, I had to be very careful how I responded to someone asking a question about someone else as it was too easy for me to accidentally say "I had" instead of they had. Were those experiences real? I don't know, I can believe anything I want, but knowing? I think I know, but all I can say for sure is I experienced them. The experience sure had an impact upon me, after that I could go shopping and when seeing others instead of seeing a black man, I saw myself, instead of seeing a woman, I saw myself and knew what they were seeing when looking at me too, another part of themselves, whether they realized it or not.

This must be why I felt so in awe and so much love for the trees I saw on my acid trip. All I wanted to do was stare at them and watch them dance for eternity. They towered over me and I felt that their energy and I were one; they whispered with their leaves that there was nothing to fear. Not a literal whisper, but that is what I felt from them. They were love and I am love, and we were one. The more that I learn from you the more I grow to understand your awakening video; the one where you were crying and explaining that the last remnants of your ego had shed and you could feel it as you were talking. I am just beginning to understand that now. Its barely barely begun for me, but I can sense it simultaneously; it all makes perfect sense. I am eternally thankful for you and your teachings; it's simply too much to express and this video has brought me to tears.

In other words, do you still operate within the ego?
