In the video, Leo Gura clearly and briefly explains how to stay focused and productive and clear the mind. He introduces the concept of flow state coined by Mihály Csíkszentmihályi in his book Flow. I highly recommend watching the video.

I understand your idea of reality and consciousness, and I agere of most of it, but in my eyes is consciousness what infinity is made of - not more or less. And we don't have access to very much of it, because we only is a microscopic, little part of infinity aka consciousness. But even the few realities - we can access - have very different qualities. Fx you can easily dream, you are eating a burger or five, but but the dream will not satisfy your hunger, but your hunger, on the other hand, could easily 'tear you out' of the dream reality, as you will wake up when the hunger becomes great enough. Just as in the realities of our dreams we can experience being exposed to extreme, destructive physical forces; for example, I can be run over by a lorry in dreamland, but it can't never cause me any pain. Conversely, a pain that also exists in my waking reality will easily 'tear me out' of dreamland! On the other hand, the dreamland - for me at least - can better point to very many more, other realities than my 'waking reality' can. Since my consciousness constitutes a microscopic part of all consciousness - better expressed as my infinitesimally small differentiated part of the total integrated CONSCIOUSNESS', then all small parts of consciousness that together constitute the whole COLLECTED, INTEGRATED CONSCIOUSNESS, which by itself essentially constitutes TIME, which - again in my perspective - is therefore both infinite and continuous. Thus all consciousnesses - that is, each one of the infinite parts of PURE CONSCIOUSNESS itself, of which not even the smallest part can be dispensed with - will exist forever! What this means exactly is hardly the same as the most widespread interpretation of how an 'immortal consciousness' will manifest. Frankly, not many people will care about my personal interpretation of how "the ever-existing CONSCIOUSNESS", rather 'THE CONSCIOUSNESS' that makes up eternity - is the reason why none of its infinitely many parts will ever be able to disappear and everything and everyone cannot perish. I keep my interpretation for myself and leave it to everyone to find their own interpretations, which give meaning for them and which will probably be just as good in most cases - or better - than my own take on a perspective.

on this episode, I felt like I was at a party, and some drunk guy was trying to express his philosophy. Look at your top comment, Leo. He is literally praising your old episodes many years ago, no praise for this episode. Nobody gives 2 poops about post modernism, your new favorite catchphrase. Post Modernism is mainly just a form of painted art, not intended to stand alone as a philosophy. In order to make yourself the philosophy king, you have to comment on obscure nonsense like this. Since you came back from your mushroom downtime, your posts have no new perspectives, no practical value. You are like Dokken, you had a couple hits a few years ago, and now you are waiting for the crowd to realize you are tapped out as a creative. You open your show with new stuff, and the crowd, including me, only wants the old hits, because you lost your mojo along the way

I bet Kamala doesn't know where Nigeria is, as well as Biden. In reality governments regularly break their constitutions and for the rich rules don't apply most of the time. Insight is just another form of belief and at the end of day we all believe in something based on our experience or imagination. It is true society is full with fact checkers who defend their worldviews as long as the worldviews serve them. And saddest part is they don't really care about the principles they defend. They care about getting all the possible power. Races are better in certain things but this doesn't mean one race should be left and others to be killed - it's about if individuals are good or bad. For example I am sick of genders and women to have privileges at job interviews due to their origin. It's about the skill, not the origin. There are white people who can run well and black people who can ski well but those are exceptions. Still, hire the best individuals and ignore their origins. Bulgaria is quite corrupted because everyone is using family links to get jobs and totally unqualified people get jobs they don't deserve because they cannot handle them and they create totally dysfunctional systems which cannot be self-corrected. Communism is better than Capitalism but it is of greatest importance for the government to not have high levels of corruption. Earth has oblate spheroid form. Republicans are the lesser evil compared to Democrats who censor the opposition much-much more. Jews did many nasty things historically wise and usually tend to have power so most of them are harmful for the collective. There may be harmless individuals but every person must be tested for their actions. God exists in the face of reality itself and unconditional love doesn't justify or doesn't explain all the endless misery and suffering which are constantly generated. And you cannot be totally certain that you have become God but haven't deluded yourself by using DMT, mushrooms and other drugs. What if direct experience is not king because it is so limited that it deludes you? God is all-knowing and all-powerful and you are achieving nothing by identifying with it. It is wishful thinking. Andrew Tate is ultimately an idiot. USA invades the whole world - no problem. Putin invades Ukraine and everybody loses their minds. Putin and Trump are evil but are not the greatest evils. Government in Bulgaria care only about their families and that's the main reason why the country suffers. And of course this goes for other countries, as well, but my country is a good example - just look at corruption statistics. All in all, the finite cannot define the infinite and the subject cannot define the object. God's motivations and plan are not clear but don't seem to count much on love but seem more like madness.

What do you think about video game disclaimers on reverse engineering? Could you talk about that in light of deconstruction? I've been experiencing stage yellow at least partially as a lifelong learner, and am interested in applying later stages without going over people's heads or lighting fires beneath their feet. Do you have guidelines when it comes to analyses and seeing partially the Creation that is currently visible in one's Mind? Or is yours a more broad take and big picture framework? Any books you recommend for early stage yellow?

By the same logic "provax" perspective is also a lower one? Or as long as it's aligned with your point of view it's the higher one? Funny thing is doctors usually don't care if you're vaccinated or not as opposed to non-medical professions.
@unKnownExperiencer
@unKnownExperiencer Күн бұрын
Are you asking if supporting vaccination as a medical procedure is lower? Or if “provax” as an identifier, used to substantiate one’s own arguments through pseudo-alignment with the perceived benevolent intent of the institution of western medicine is lower? If it’s the latter then yes, it’s a form of dogma. Even though vaccinations can be useful, being pro-anything, especially pro-institution, as a means of intellectually bypassing oppositional argument is lower. The way I like to think of ideology is “self-subjugation.” By that I mean, sacrificing the inherent value that is provided by direct experience in order to promote a belief, even if there is a lot of empirical evidence that backs up one’s claim. Self-subjugation is effectively “lower perspective.” It is a strict denial of relative perspective and nuance. Think of it like you’re standing under a giant redwood. You’re on the ground, closer to its roots than the top, clearly. You say “wow, this has to be the tallest tree I’ve ever seen.” You may be right, but the truth of your direct experience is that the validation of that claim exceeds your own perspective. You have the “lower perspective” literally because you cannot see the height of the tree as it actually is, absent of your perception. Not only that, but you might have actually seen a taller tree before, but it didn’t become an object of your perception because you didn’t categorize your own perspective that would include it in this set “tallest tree I’ve ever seen.” But we’ll say this redwood actually is the tallest tree you’ve ever seen. Even though your point of view is aligned with the higher perspective (that you have indeed never see a tree taller than this one), it doesn’t make your perspective the higher perspective . Because you don’t actually _know._ This is why Leo is talking about epistemology, or how you know what you know. Knowing something that is correct doesn’t make it the higher perspective. It’s knowing what makes it true that elevates the perspective. So now let’s say, actually you are a forest biologist. Your job is to find tall trees and measure them. You have a proven method of doing this and it’s usually accurate. That method was part of specialized training, that presumably the general public is not trained on. So you do it and add the measured height into your recorded data throughout your career. Lo and behold, it is in fact the tallest tree you’ve ever … recorded with this method. Your perspective is higher than the original example. Because you know its height relative to other trees’ heights. But how do you know if this method really works? Like you said, there are quite a lot of medical doctors who aren’t “provax.” Doesn’t mean they’re “anti”, but it means they understand that even highly supported medical methodology was just created by another person, who had their own dogmas. Almost everyone has dogmas, so it’s not hard to believe that even very educated doctors do as well. But denial of a dogma is not inherently a “higher perspective.” It can actually still be a “lower perspective” because there’s no proof that they are correct. Being skeptical of institutions is always a great first step towards higher perspective though. Just be wary that skepticism is _not_ the same thing as denial. You have to be open to being wrong about your own beliefs.

Understanding Perspectives Reality is complex and filled with various perspectives, making it challenging to discern which are valid or valuables. Not all perspectives hold equal weight; some are of higher quality than otherss. The concept of relativism complicates the evaluation of perspectives, as many believe all viewpoints are subjectives. Criteria for Evaluating Perspectives Higher and lower quality perspectives can be distinguished through specific criterias. Thought experiments can help illustrate the differences in perspective quality, such as comparing extremist views to academic or scientific viewpointss. The need for objective criteria to evaluate perspectives is emphasized, moving beyond personal biasess. Characteristics of Lower Perspectives Lower perspectives often stem from a lack of education, leading to ignorance of basic facts and historyss. Misinformation from low-quality sources contributes to the formation of these perspectivess. Individuals holding lower perspectives frequently lack experience in the domains they discuss, leading to uninformed opinionss. Belief and ideology dominate lower perspectives, causing individuals to defend their views against contradictory evidences. Lower perspectives are characterized by a lack of genuine inquiry and an inability to distinguish between belief and insights. Emotional and Cognitive Traits of Lower Perspectives Lower perspectives are often rooted in emotional attachments, leading to defensiveness and aggression when challengeds. Individuals with lower perspectives tend to be closed-minded, resistant to new information, and unable to admit mistakesss. They often engage in double standards and lack intellectual integrity, failing to apply the same scrutiny to their beliefs as they do to othersss. Social and Cultural Influences on Perspectives Lower perspectives are heavily influenced by social circles and cultural narratives, leading to conformity rather than independent thoughtss. They often engage in echo chambers, reinforcing their beliefs without exposure to alternative viewpointss. The tendency to generalize and oversimplify complex issues is prevalent among those with lower perspectivesss. Conclusion and Reflection The exploration of lower versus higher perspectives is crucial for personal development and understanding realitys. Engaging in self-reflection and questioning one's own beliefs is essential for moving towards higher quality perspectivess. The upcoming discussions will focus on identifying the characteristics of higher perspectives and the journey towards advanced cognitive developments.
