my mother died when I was 8, dad when I was 20. Both from cancer. Dad was an abusive alcoholic = my childhood was hell. First books that I've read in my life when I was only 11 were, Conversations with God, Story of Karma by Benedict, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield and one book from Osho, I don't remember its title. I don't think I would ever read those books if I had a "normal" childhood. I don't see myself as a victim, I am actually grateful that my life went that way because otherwise I would probably never become self aware. I can even say that I was lucky to be able to start with all this that young. I see my past and my parents as one of those good movies that leave an impact on you and stick inside of your head, but nothing more than that. I'm 27 now and still on this path going deeper.
Like my boy Miester Eckhart once said, "The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me. My eye and God's are one eye, one sight, one knowing, one love". And to add unto that, one will.

Free will is an illusion and here is the argumentation: ### Neuroscience Perspective: Marcus Du Sautoy and John-Dylan Haynes conduct an experiment to explore the neurological basis of decision-making. The study finds that the brain makes a decision up to six seconds before one is consciously aware of it. This challenges the concept of free will and suggests that unconscious brain activity influences our decisions. The experiment also argues that consciousness is a part of brain activity, not a separate entity. ### Physics Perspective: By reverse-engineering actions, one can see that choices are influenced by past events and conditions beyond one's control. This challenges the idea of free will, suggesting that everything happens according to cosmic laws and that we may be essentially biological robots.

I LOVE how you explain surrendering to the will of God. Accepting everything! REST in this peace that surpasses understanding. Just LOVE if you desire to do anything and when your expectations get off track with what our shortsighted perception of the outcome may be, praise the outcome and expect all will be well. CHARGE through life this way and be in harmony with all existence. Be grateful in thick and thin. Build others up despite what we ourselves are going through. THIS was the example of Jesus Christs fully surrendering to the will of the father! Wake up Christians, wake up EVERYONE and the way, truth and life shall shine magnificently upon AND from within you.

Free will is an illusion and here is the argumentation: From the lense of neuroscience: Marcus Du Sautoy (Professor of Mathematics at the University of Oxford and the Simonyi Professorship for the Public Understanding of Science) participates in an experiment conducted by John-Dylan Haynes (Professor at the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Berlin) that attempts to find the neurological basis for decision making. Short summary: The experiment explores the relationship between free will, decision-making, and brain activity. Marcus Du Sautoy participates in an experiment in Berlin where they have to randomly decide to press either a left or right button. Brain scans and computer records track when the decision is made in the brain and when the button is physically pressed. The results reveal that up to six seconds before Marcus Du Sautoy consciously makes a decision, their brain has already made that choice. Specific patterns of brain activity can even predict which button will be pressed. This finding challenges the notion of free will, suggesting that unconscious brain activity significantly shapes our decisions before we become consciously aware of them. The experiment also delves into the nature of consciousness. It argues against dualism-the idea that the mind and brain are separate entities. Instead, it posits that consciousness is an aspect of brain activity. The unconscious brain activity is in harmony with a person's beliefs and desires, so it's not forcing you to do something against your will. Marcus Du Sautoy finds the results shocking, especially the idea that someone else can predict their decision six seconds before they are consciously aware of making it. The experiment raises profound questions about the nature of free will, consciousness, and the deterministic mechanisms that may govern our decisions. From the lense of pysics: In order to question the belief in free will, one can conduct experiments and contemplations. Take an action you are convinced you performed and reverse-engineer it until you realize you had no control over it. This leads to the conclusion that all actions in life are the same, and the notion of claiming ownership falls away, so free will is non-existent. By 'reverse-engineering an action,' I mean tracing back the steps that led you to make a specific decision. Upon close examination, you'll find that your choice was influenced by a series of past events and conditions over which you had no control, and that your choice didn't originate from a single point. One could argue that everything originates from the Big Bang, making us essentially biological robots. This realization may prompt you to reconsider how much 'free will' you actually possess, as your actions are shaped by factors beyond your control, both in the past and likely in the future as well. So you can summarize everything is a happening according to cosmic laws.

So what I got from this is that your individual Will is limited to the choice of resisting vs surrendering to the flow of life. Through very advanced work one can dissolve their neurosis and attachments, thus becoming a superconductor for this flow (God‘s Will). And when that happens, one realizes that everything is his own creation (since technically he is choosing whether to surrender or to resist the flow of life, even if subconsciously) When choosing to resist life, one manifests poor conditions.. when surrendering to life, one gets access to all its abundance - but since his attachments are gone, he takes just enough to meet his needs Sort of a quick oversimplified summary, but hope it helps

What does a Devil do? Goes against God, basically. But the more it fights like a baby, the more and more it loses control. It's like Iran attacking US, and the US just drops an atombomb each time Iran attack with some airplanes or sonething, Iran should know this fight is hopeless. Likewise, God will let the ego fight, but it's God, you fight God, you better realize you already lost lol.

One thing I've personally realized in my experience, is that YES , we DO have FREE WILL in the sense that we CHOOSE which particular aspect of consciousness that we will be UNCONDITIONALLY LOVING in the next moment before it happens, and this CAN happen STILL from INDIVIDUAL PREFERENCES paradoxically. Another thing though is that although DO have choice, ALSO from God's perspective... Everything that can be experienced... Will be experienced, and is in fact... Already being experienced right now... So this means that from another perspective you are just experiencing one aspectof infinite that was inevitably going to be experienced in that particular way no matter what... Because Infinite. Great video Leo ! Thanks for being one of the people that inspires me to post videos every single day! Much Love 🙏

🐟 11. FREE-WILL Vs DETERMINISM: Just as the autonomous beating of one's heart is governed by one's genes (such as the presence of a congenital heart condition), and the present-life conditioning of the heart (such as myocardial infarction as a consequence of the consumption of excessive fats and oils, or heart palpitations due to severe emotional distress), each and EVERY thought and action is governed by our genes and environmental conditioning. This teaching is possibly the most difficult concept for humans to accept, because we refuse to believe that we are not the author of our thoughts and actions. From the appearance of the pseudo-ego (one’s inaccurate conception of oneself) at the age of approximately two and a half, we have been constantly conditioned by our parents, teachers, and society, to believe that we are solely responsible for our thoughts and deeds. This deeply-ingrained belief is EXCRUCIATINGLY difficult to abandon, which is possibly the main reason why there are very few persons extant who are spiritually-enlightened, or at least who are liberated from the five manifestations of mental suffering explained elsewhere in this “Final Instruction Sheet for Humanity”, since suffering (as opposed to pain) is predicated solely upon the erroneous belief in free-will. Free-will is usually defined as the ability for a person to make a conscious decision to do otherwise, that is to say, CHOOSE to have performed an action other than what one has already done, if one had been given the opportunity to do so. To make it perfectly clear, if one, for example, is handed a restaurant menu with several dishes listed, one could decide that one dish is equally-desirable as the next dish, and choose either option. If humans truly possessed freedom of will, then logically speaking, a person who adores cats and detests dogs, ought to be able to suddenly switch their preferences at any given point in time, or even voluntarily pause the beating of his or her own heart! So, in both of the aforementioned examples, there is a pre-existing preference (at a given point in time) for one particular dish or pet. Even if a person liked cats and dogs EQUALLY, and one was literally forced to choose one over the other, that choice isn’t made freely, but entirely based upon the person’s genetic code plus the individual's up-to-date conditioning. True equality is non-existent in the phenomenal sphere. The most common argument against determinism is that humans (unlike other animals) have the ability to choose what they can do, think or feel. First of all, many species of (higher) mammals also make choices. For instance, a cat can see two birds and choose which one to prey upon, or choose whether or not to play with a ball that is thrown its way, depending on its conditioning (e.g. its mood). That choices are made is indisputable, but those choices are dependent ENTIRELY upon one’s genes and conditioning. There is no third factor involved on the phenomenal plane. On the noumenal level, thoughts and deeds are in accordance with the preordained “Story of Life”. Read previous chapters of “F.I.S.H” to understand how life is merely a dream in the “mind of the Divine” and that human beings are, essentially, that Divinity in the form of dream characters. Chapter 08, specifically, explains how an action performed in the present is the result of a chain of causation, all the way back to the earliest-known event in our apparently-real universe (the so-called “Big Bang” singularity). At this point, it should be noted that according to reputable geneticists, it is possible for genes to mutate during the lifetime of any particular person. However, that phenomenon would be included under the “conditioning” aspect. The genes mutate according to whatever conditioning is imposed upon the human organism. It is simply IMPOSSIBLE for a person to use sheer force of will to change their own genetic code. Essentially, “conditioning” includes everything that acts upon a person from conception. University studies in recent years have demonstrated, by the use of hypnosis and complex experimentation, that CONSCIOUS volition is either unnecessary for a decision to be enacted upon or (in the case of hypnotic testing) that free-will choices are completely superfluous to actions. Because scientific research into free-will is a recent phenomenon, it is recommended that the reader search online for the latest findings. If any particular volitional act was not caused by the preceding thoughts and actions, then the only alternative explanation would be due to RANDOMNESS. Many quantum physicists claim that subatomic particles can randomly move in space, but true randomness cannot occur in a deterministic universe. Just as the typical person believes that two motor vehicles colliding together was the result of pure chance (therefore the term “accident”), quantum physicists are unable to see that the seeming randomness of quantum particles are, in fact, somehow determined by each and every preceding action which led-up to the act in question. It is a known scientific fact that a random number generator cannot exist, since no computational machine or software program is able to make the decision to generate a number at “random”. We did not choose which deoxyribonucleic acid our biological parents bequeathed to us, and most all the conditions to which we were exposed throughout our lives, yet we somehow believe that we are fully-autonomous beings, with the ability to feel, think and behave as we desire. The truth is, we cannot know for certain what even our next thought will be. Do we DECIDE to choose our thoughts and deeds? Not likely. Does an infant choose to learn how to walk or to begin speaking, or does it just happen automatically, according to nature? Obviously, the toddler begins to walk and to speak according to its genes (some children are far more intelligent and verbose, and more agile than others, depending on their genetic code) and according to all the conditions to which he or she has been exposed so far (some parents begin speaking to their kids even while they are in the womb, or expose their offspring to highly-intellectual dialogues whilst still in the cradle). Even those decisions/choices that we seem to make are entirely predicated upon our genes and conditioning, and cannot be free in any sense of the word. To claim that one is the ULTIMATE creator of one’s thoughts and actions is tantamount to believing that one created one’s very being. If a computer program or artificially-intelligent robot considered itself to be the cause of its activity, it would seem absurd to the average person. Yet, that is precisely what virtually every person who has ever lived mistakenly believes of their own thoughts and deeds. The IMPRESSION that we have free-will can be considered a “Gift of Life” or “God’s Grace”, otherwise, we may be resentful of our lack of free-will, since, unlike other creatures, we humans have the intelligence to comprehend our own existence. Even an enlightened sage, who has fully realized that he is not the author of his thoughts and actions, is not conscious of his lack of volition at every moment of his day. At best, he may recall his lack of freedom during those times where suffering (as opposed to mere pain) begins to creep-in to the mind or intellect. Many, if not most scientists, particularly academic philosophers and physicists, accept determinism to be the most logical and reasonable alternative to free-will, but it seems, at least anecdotally, that they rarely (if ever) live their lives conscious of the fact that their daily actions are fated. Cont...

When a person blames another person for his or her actions, it is akin to blaming the penultimate domino in a row of dominoes for doing what it did to fell the final domino, when in actual fact, the ultimate cause of the final domino falling was the INITIAL domino which fell. If anyone is to blame for anything, surely it is the Person who created everything. Who then, is that Supreme Creator? That thou art (“tat tvam asi”, in Sanskrit). Read Chapter 08 for a succinct, yet accurate, explanation for this chain of causation, and Chapter 05 to understand the Primal Self. Therefore, EVERY action, including seemingly-heinous deeds, is ultimately in alignment with the predestined “Story of Life” (or, for those who are attached to a theistic viewpoint, “God's Perfect Will”), since nothing could have happened differently, given the circumstances. That does not mean that a person ought to deliberately perform criminal acts and use his lack of free-will to justify his actions. If, however, he does, in fact, blame his dastardly deeds on a lack of personal freedom, that blame too was destined, just as any consequences were destined. Unfortunately, very few crimes are punished in so-called “first-world” societies, which helps to explain why the “Westernized” nations are morally bankrupt. When did you last hear of an adulterous couple being put to death for their sin, for example? Never, I would posit. In recent times, in many (if not most) jurisdictions, courts of law have given leeway to those convicted criminals whose crimes were shown to have been committed whilst the person in question was temporarily or permanently insane. The judge or jury has determined that those criminals were not responsible for their actions due to their mental state at the time, and have sentenced them accordingly. Of course, according to the postulations in this teaching, every action, whether criminal or not, is enacted without true freedom of volition. So then, how should any particular criminal be punished for his unwilling crime? That question is adequately answered in the following chapter, but suffice to say, each case ought to be judged on an individual basis. In the case of a person who has an obvious neurological disease, he may be incarcerated in a mental hospital, whilst a person who SEEMS to have sufficient control over his or her actions may be deemed necessary to be imprisoned in a regular jail, or some other form of penitence, depending on the severity of the crime. Practically nobody believes that non-human animals have free-will. However, if a man's pet dog were to maul his baby to death, I'm sure that most everyone would agree that the dog ought to be put to death, or at least be quarantined in a location where it would no longer have access to children. Therefore, to put it succinctly, the dog is not morally-responsible for its action, yet it MUST be penalized in some manner, in order to protect society from danger. Likewise, humans, despite their lack of freedom of volition, ought to be punished for their crimes. That explains why this “wisdom teaching” was traditionally reserved for students of high-calibre. It requires an unusually wise and intelligent person to understand that, despite everything being preordained, to blame one's lack of free-will for criminal actions and expecting NOT to be punished for them is unbeneficial to a peaceful society. Even today, with easy access to knowledge and information, few persons will come to hear this teaching, and fewer still will realize it, and integrate it into their daily lives. Obviously, that too is a consequence of destiny. Everything is permissible but not everything is BENEFICIAL. One can eat junk “food” but that is not going to benefit one’s physiology in any way (unless, of course, it enables one to temporarily survive a famine). We can murder our enemy, but we may not escape being punished by the local judicial system. Therefore, lack of free-will is not to be used as an excuse for immoral behaviour or for negligence of one's societal duties. As explained in Chapter 15, the understanding that life being determined is not only beneficial to human psychology, it is practically mandatory for TRUE peace and happiness. When one is fully convinced (by logic, reason, and evidence) that no living creature has independent freedom of volition, one automatically abandons any notion of blame, praise, pride, anxiety and worry, and lives one's life in the present moment. To assume that free-will suddenly and INEXPLICABLY appeared on this planet at the birth of the first Homo sapiens, is the height of presumption. This assumption alone is sufficient cause for the notion of free-will to be critically-questioned, what to speak of the wealth of evidence provided in the preceding paragraphs. One day, humanity will come to see the obvious truth of its lack of freedom of volition. “The Lord dwelleth in the hearts of all beings, causing all to behave as if seated on a machine, under His illusory spell.” Lord Śri Krishna, “Bhagavad-gītā”, 18:61. Translation by Jagadguru Svāmī Vegānanda “To be, or not to be, that is the question.” *********** “All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” William Shakespeare, English Playwright. “Free will is an illusion. Our wills are simply not of our own making.” Samuel Benjamin “Sam” Harris, American Neuroscientist and Philosopher. “We ought to regard the present state of the universe as the effect of its antecedent state and as the cause of the state that is to follow. An intelligence knowing all the forces acting in nature at a given instant, as well as the momentary positions of all things in the universe, would be able to comprehend in one single formula the motions of the largest bodies as well as the lightest atoms in the world, provided that its intellect were sufficiently powerful to subject all data to analysis; to it nothing would be uncertain, the future as well as the past would be present to its eyes. The perfection that the human mind has been able to give to astronomy affords but a feeble outline of such an intelligence.” Pierre Simon de Laplace, French Polymath.

This is akin to the notion of internal Taoist Alchemy. Within Taoism, all things are in a state of change and exchange. The elemental state of fire, for example, is a state only briefly held as events unfold. Yin accepts and becomes yang, which then gives to a yin to again be ready to accept yang as yin, again. The goal of internal taoist alchemy is to attain a state of divine insight - a state capable of true creation. This is distinct from normal creation in that most things we create are of the world and our experiences - thus formulated using yin - a receptive aspect. We perceive a need in the world and create a remedy - and as such are we truly creating as a divine act or simply responding as part of the universe? Thus, most of our actions can be reasoned within Taoism to be part of a fated path - our innate dispositions and behaviors responding to the events unfolding in the world. With enough perception and insight, one could largely divine the fate of people's lives because most people and things are like ripples in a pond - understand the underlying waves well enough, and the future of them becomes obvious. But even this is not a truly divine state - a divine insight - it is simply a wise insight. To truly create something - or to truly act with free will from outside the ripples of causality - requires an extensive process of ridding one's self of the world so as to be able to receive the divine insight - a somewhat ironic state of seeking yin to achieve yang. Of course, taoism also has a concept of good and evil - good being the philosophy of wei wu wei - action lacking action - or doing without doing, and evil would be defined as attempting to control and/or stagnate the process of change/exchange. Using the ripples analogy, a good taoist sage would perhaps only bob playfully in a pool a few times to help an animal on the other side of said pool reach a platform. An evil taoist sage would be like a child trying to smash his bath water flat and doomed to not just failure, but the bringer of calamity. Though whether or not these actions contain will - or, as the Taoists like to phrase it - "intent" - is nuanced - as is the degree of 'freedom' in that will.

To me it seems like god can't even have free will. The problem is that free and will seem incompatible in principle. Since free implies lack of constrains in choice while will implies a mechanism for selecting a choice. Of course this creates an infinite regress as you need a mechanism for selecting your mechanism for selecting your choice.

In regards to everything being equal I notice in certain environments where ppl seemingly lack self worth don’t like it when you treat everyone equal you start noticing basically envy and so you find out it seems like now you have to manage and keep ppl happy make sure you’re not praising one more than the other or giving one more help or attention . You might even instead want to shun everyone cuz who’s more important ? If you make somone important , you get attacked by the ones you make feel non important . small family example: being a man amongst mostly women in my fatherless family , I created a daughter . Literally being the only actual physical father. And I can feel the karma my own thoughts and tendencies not to want to be there and be responsible just like my father . On the one hand I can say I’m breaking the chains of no father so I’m gonna be the best father I can be to “MY” daughter … now this is where the pickle is for me ; I notice subtle envy within my family when i play my father role . And I can even women in my family give my daughter a hard time cuz maybe they see she getting too much love from her father which means everyone’s secretly resentful that this is the only relationship in our family with a father …They want you to be happy but not too happy . So im thinking shit i feel a calling to be everyone’s father so to speak .. my younger siblings my older siblings, my mothers aunties all still emotionally scared … a part of my feel like showing too much love to my Daughter in front of family creates envy but then I don’t want to be all stoic with her either seems like her little feelings get hurt . And sometimes I even catch my daughter herself getting jealous when I have fun conversations with my little sister … basically family makes you feel like you have to push one or the other away and I feel kinda wrong for even asking wether I should choose my daughter over little sister and nephews and mother . And the end this is all ego right ? Giving my daughter more priority is ego . So my issue is : there is no daughter , and I should treat everyone with the same energy well there is no everyone just myself . But then if there’s only myself then why does myself (family) get envious? That’s because it’s envy within me . The issue is I don’t accept there envy . I feel like I do accept it … paradoxically I feel like my peace creates havoc within the family like I need to balance it with some hostility or something . Like you kinda gotta be an asshole to be peaceful
@alexjohnson16503 жыл бұрын
I totally feel this. You should be responsible for your daughter and own life before anyone else. They need to see it. As the patriarch, you set the example for the types men that the women in your family need to have around. (Responsible and self assured, not people pleasers that put their own daughters needs aside in order to placate others) It isn't fair to expect you to fill the dad shaped hole in everyone's heart. Just heal your own heart and show them what it looks like.

This is so interesting, I remember contemplating this during one of my DMT trips and came to the insight that Will = Love. That WILL (of God) given to the manifestation of infinite love is precisely why the imagery in the Bible is used for “The Bride & The Groom” in Revelation. Thanks for clarifying that absolute oneness can be nothing but love. I’ve said the same by saying, “omniscience” MUST be Omni benevolent because it can only produce infinite love by knowing the logical outcome produced by it being the only probability. Anything else is not plausible. Infinite wisdom + infinite life + infinite grace = perfection. It is finished! Creation is knowing by this relationship between the eternal and the temporal which transcends this temporal illusion.

When you say it takes hundreds of awakenings, does that mean a 100 psychedelic trips? That is going to be expensive in that case, might have to start gowing some shrooms on my own

In Germany you can get "legal" LSD I think its 1V-LSD at the moment, a prodrug and if you would purchase 100 trips it would be less than 5€ per trip. But I don't know about the legal status in Spain.

So, I see you're doing some very solid work. A lot of people don't realize that earth evolved with a diverging will from the universe. This earthly realm's evolution out of the uninhabitable cosmos operates under differing rules of a substrate and for a while, it represented perfect order (comparable to the cosmos). Now, the crazy thing is that the cosmos evolve to give rise to places where the evolution there is dictated by the rules of that earthly place (water, complex molecules, atmosphere, etc.) rather than the rules of the cosmos, whereas these earth's become unstable and evolve back into the cosmos. Now, the evolution of the earth (as creatures of it) eventually evolved to become too intelligent. The ability to create tools, technologies, stand upright, use languages, and wield opposable thumbs is actually so intelligent (oddly, so unintelligent, when it comes to the stable evolution of earth) that we actually departed from the rules of its evolution and began to evolve it! little do we understand that the default way we see things is supportive of its evolution back into the cosmos. I'll finish watching the video and go ahead and send you a veritable treasure trove of realizations later on.

This is absolute perfection. Very well done and presented. Thank You. Completely surrender to your own will. Smaller is your perspective of who you are more you will misunderstand this. Makes a lot more sense to me why I have no fear of death, why I always have enough money and I am not rich, why I don't feel lonely even tho I am single this entire human life, ...

According to my understanding regarding the topic of freedom of volition in this video. We as individuals seem to be determined at the level of I. You spoke of universal consciousness as a phenomenon when reached, as an inevitably form of surrendering. Riding the wave as we speak, of what universal consciousness wills as an entity dissolved within it. However, what I didn’t understand from your video, is what you mentioned about people being lazy, not working hard as attributes of free will of such, that has been given by the universal consciousness. I believe what’s important here, is the frame of reference from which you use to speak like that, because this idea of the universal consciousness creating what it wills, is what we see at the level of I as being determined. I believe the scientists whom preach about the absence of free will do so, at the level of I. Perhaps, the humming bird at the level of I, would assume it could move left, right and center, but inevitably it’s the hurricane that determines it’s path. Yet, if the bird in fact, is dissolved into the hurricane (as you want our consciousness into universal consciousness), and is assumed one with it, it concurrently changes it’s reference point. Then at that - it is safe to assume it’s in control of it’s own will, as it then becomes the hurricane. Not sure whether I got your point, but this is what I extracted from your video. Awesome work mate! Keep it up! CHEERS!

I recommend Leo's episode on holons (and holistic totality) to grasp the reticulate nature of the universe and its interdependencies. Also, to study 'ziran' .. things being of themselves so.
